LA TIMES OFFERS MORE PROOF WHY NO ONE BOTHERS TO READ IT ANYMORE

James and Rick: Thanks for clearing the word in question at the top of the comment section for me. I`ve been telling people the same thing as James said, that there is no such word, irregardless of how many repeat it. Oh the ir of it all!

OT: My time home was short lived and I`m back in Japan. Keep up the good work Rick as your site is one of my reality checkpoints

ANY PORT IN A STORM...EXCEPT THIS ONE

(Sorry I hit the wrong button-I wasn't done) I can't believe what a political entanglement this is but, what have the PHD packing Economists said about this move?

Among the initial emotional and predictable responses by the democrats is how they've managed to not only change horses in the middle of the stream, but are going a different direction in a renamed river. Clinton, Carter and Gore are all out fanning the Islamic flames on the side of the "Arabs are our friends", meme. (Don't get me wrong. I've got lots of Arab friends/business associates, just no Islamic Ghouls.) Meanwhile back at the ranch.....

Basically, I feel about the same as Mitz. I do think it would be an interesting, if not hilarious (given certain people's aversions) turn of events, should Halliburton come riding in to "save the day".

ELBARADEI: HEART OF MUSH, HEAD OF STONE

I am somehow reminded of the "jellyfish are people too" post, my rephrase for the "O! My Brothers and Sisters! I Sing the Jellyfish Uncaged" posted today at "The Jawa Report".

Scary stuff folks! I honestly don't have much fear for anything, but people like these in the jellyfish story who have Voting Rights and other such clueless clods as in the case of Elbaradei, scares the wee geezes outa' me!

Like the punch line in the joke, as this salesman immediately drops the freshly foundered horseshoe, the blacksmith laughs and says, "Hot aint it!" and the reply is "No! It just doesn't take me long to look at a horseshoe." What does Elbaradei actually see, feel, admit to, acknowledge .....What? Ground Control, this is your favorite UN Inspector. Well now we know (again) what the UN part is all about.

Is it true that Baghdad Bob and he are twin sons of different mothers?

THE LEFT HASN'T LEARNED A DAMNED THING FROM 9/11

DID I MISS ONE OF THE CLASSES!? Is it just me or are the remarks I quoted in #3 from Noah Klein in #2, in conflict with the opening statement in his response to Rick Moran in #8?

I'm suddenly reminded of an old (BW)TV show.....Will the real Noah KLein, please stand up?

Comment Posted By forest hunter On 20.02.2006 @ 21:16

Noah Klein:"We assaulted a nation that had nothing to do with the war on terrorism", care to elaborate? Nothing, Mr. Klein! That's a bit of a stretch especially, for someone who actually appears to be considerate. It's too bad you can't ask all the dead Kurds about Saddam's terrorism skills. Or the ......pick one.

THE "HAPPY WARRIOR" IS WEEPING IN HIS GRAVE

Rick, does this mean you were a closet Humphreyite?

I still remember when the Dems had a spine and good goals. Integrity has a way of building many qualities. Key word is building.....

SADDAM TAPES: WHY IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP

As I said with C/W accidental shooting, I prefer not to speculate before a certain amount of time passes, allowing things like additional or even some facts to surface. I draw the line on things like the time I was accosted by a small group of druggies. Action has to be immediate, as brazen as certain circumstances occasionally dictate . Speculating in this case, would certainly be considered foolish at best. Others would argue that my actions were equally foolish, but instincts are irreplaceable. Perhaps an ends to a means thing or the inverse of same.

Before this gets into some digression from your post, there is a precious amount of metaphoric analogies people can use in such an example of this but, I'm no braggart nor do I wish to be thought of that kind of light, so I'll let that rest.

Simply put there's a time to wait and a time to vote. See through the pressure of reacting and act, according to circumstances.

SEND IN THE CLOWN

Don't get me started on elections! After the State of Washington's latest display .....I'm sure Brian Maloney at the radio equalizer can shed light on that infested mess throughout the hierarchy residing in Seattle, if anyone's interested. That's be a whole other topic/can of worms.

THE GANG THAT COULDN'T SHOOT STRAIGHT

OT: This was kind of weird reading this entry, with Rick and Mitzi's contributions. (My ex-wife is remarried to a guy named Rick, both of whom I get along great with, BTW.) Especially when I got to #27, damn near creepy, cause she thinks just like that!
