MY CONSERVATIVE APOSTASY AND WHY I DON'T GIVE A F**K WHAT YOU THINK

"apostasy" is a stupid term, when used this way, however I can understand many peoples irritation with you. It's almost as though you are proving your independence by flipping off your allies. Not saying that's a bad thing, but sometimes you do seem more focus on proving you are independent, no matter what "your side" says, rather than saying "hey jerkwads, I'm independent" to those who aren't on your side.

In general I see it, but I ignore it, because overall you are on my side, and someone who can think for themselves, but at the same time I can see what some people don't like about it.

THE ANTI-REASON CONSERVATIVES

Geller is not indicative of Conservatives. and since all political philosophies are minorities, and Conservative is the plurality of those 3 (rather course) political self identifications, how does moving to the left validation the plurality of Conservative thought?

Going with a squishy independent republican in statewide elections in Illinois and NY is one thing. But in a congressional district where the last republican won with 60% of the vote is a bad idea.

You are calling this a purge, how is it a purge, when the conservative was winning already?

Scozzafavva demonstrated a complete lack of grace and loyalty and it should have been obvious from the very beginning.

NO LETDOWN FOR MY BELOVEDS VS. LIONS

In the pre-season, the WGN sports guy (I don't usually watch it, I just didn't turn the channel)was talking about cutler, and delivered one of the best lines about the bears I've heard in years.

"Big expectations for cutler as he's expected to deliver something Chicago isn't used to. He can pass short, he can pass long, and there's even some receptions in there."

Cracked me up.

A TEXTBOOK EXAMPLE OF MEDIA BIAS

"Pug Said:
1:57 pm

Umm…I’m just wondering. When are those Iraqis going to stand up so we can stand down?

Is it happening yet? After all, we are in year five here and it seems like a few of them should be ready to stand up. American soldiers would have been trained, served three tours in Iraq and been discharged in five years. Like I said, I’m just wondering."

Yes, they have been standing up, but it will be a while longer before they are the primary force for security. Many missions have been either run by or lead by IA forces. IP's are further behind, but are improving (especially in Anbar).

If you only read McClatchy and the MSM, you'll never know about any of this. Get around more, read people actually on the ground (outside the wire) in Iraq like Yon, Roggio, Michael J. Totten, and get the roundup from milbloggers like Blackfive, and you'll start seeing what's really going on there.

The propganda from the MSM will only leave you believing that we lost Tet, when in fact we won.
