THE TIME FOR EVASION IS OVER

Your comment was deleted for being insulting to the host. If you have something to add to the debate sans the insults, be my guest.

Hey, it's your blog. Me, I'd say that a public display of such civics ignorance is insulting to the host.

But what can ya do?

TRIUMPH OF THE WILLFUL

One wonders if admitting error is enough for these folks. Obviously not.

I don't know. I guess we'll have to wait for Michelle, Confederate Yankee, flopping aces, and Marc Danziger to actually admit error to find out.

OBAMA FAILS RELIGIOUS TEST: SCHLUSSEL

Just to be clear Rick. Don't think that my comments detract from my admiration for you making this post. You and the other conservative bloggers, and I haven't seen ANY conservative bloggers agreeing with her, are to be highly commended.

I disagree with you often, but you show a level of integrity and intellectual honesty that is becoming more and more rare these days.

Ooh.. I really shouldn't have read the comments to that post.

So freaking sad.

Debbie is but a symptom of the problem many honorable conservatives are going to have to face.

Good on you!

It is important for conservatives to call out those on their own side who proffer bat shit crazy ideas.

And I've never thought the lady was the "“Queen of the Conservative Blogosphere".

Conservative Bloggers are bloggers. This lady is a frequent contributor to Fox News, has been published in the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Detroit Free Press and has appeared many times on Sean Hannity's show.

See a trend here?

It's obvious that she far outranks any Conservative blogger sitting in her basement. We can only conclude she is a representative of the Mainstream Conservative establishment.

IRAQ: THE WITHDRAWAL CLOCK IS OFFICIALLY TICKING

Damn that leftest defeatist Baker!

It's not the non existant planning for the occupation that's the problem.

It's not the ignorance of the region which of course has no history of sectarian strife.

It's not the new era of warfare, lighter, faster, more agile, introduced by our Sec. of Defense.

No, it's people like Gerald Burke, National Security Advisor to the Iraqi Ministry of Interior

And of course blue ribbed liberals like James Baker.

A MOST GHOULISH DEBATE

Clooney and his ilk will posture and preen and act like they give a rat’s ass and demand that something be done. But if Bush sent in the military how long do you think it would be before we started hearing no blood for oil and seeing our soldiers portrayed as wanton killers?

If? we sent in the military?

Are you living in some kind of time warp or something?

Face it folks, all these Iraqis are dying in a blatant attempt to make our president look bad.

Why doesn't the drive by media report on the millions of Iraqis that are still alive?

Look, Iraq is no more dangerous than many large US cities.

And if it is, who cares? The Iraqis are the ones holding up the spread of democracy.

And if all of them were dead there'd be no more violence in Baghdad.

THE LIEBERMAN INQUISITION

I just can't undertand why democrats don't get behind Lieberman en masse?

He has the endorsement of Limbaugh, Cheney, Gingrich, Savage, and now Moran.

If republicans can fill Michael Moores bank account by flocking to see his movie why can't Dems elect a favorite of Republicans?

KRISTOL'S FOLLY

Just curious. How do you square this..

First, Greenwald may want to inform his readers about all those “militaristic proposals” that are “too crazed or extremist” that have been “undertaken” by the Administration. Of course there are none. Greenwald, Mr. Hyperbole, is a serial exaggerator and unless I’ve missed a war or two in the past 6 years, he can safely be dismissed in this instance as a partisan hack.

With this...

If the neoconservatives had a track record of success, I might be more inclined to listen to Kristol, John Podhoretz, and Michael Ledeen who have all come out in the last 2 days advocating American military action in support of Isreal

Some would argue that the nightmare that is currently Iraq was certainly, in retrospect, “militaristic proposals” that have resulted in great losses to both our treasury, our youth, and our world standing.

As a matter of fact, many did prior to 2003. Weren't you one of them?
