Rick - I think Obama's tone deafness to the public's reaction to nominees with tax issues stems from his Chicago roots. In Chicago, the failure to file returns for several years has not been a barrier to seeking public office and tax cheating is almost a way of life in some communities. It certainly has not carried the scarlet T that Obama is seeing now on the national stage and exposes him as the inexperienced leader we expected.
