McCAIN'S DISAVOWAL OF HAGEE A GOOD SIGN

Syn, post #1:

You really have no idea what Jewish Americans have to deal with. It is clueless and patronizing to suggest that all you need to do to earn their trust is to support the state of Israel. All of the candidates of both major parties support the state of Israel, so obviously it takes more than that.

So you DO know what Jewish Americans deal with? I suggest that you speak for yourself. I personally accept support from Evangelical Christians even if they do believe in "the rapture". That is what they believe. OK, I don't. In the meantime it's a heck of a lot better than Muslims who want you(me) dead NOW. And no I don't believe that all of the candidates support Israel. That one would be Barack Hussein Obama and he happens to be, guess what, the Democratic candidate for Potus.

TIME FOR McCAIN TO LANCE THE HAGEE BOIL

Ditto Simpleman61. While reading this post I kept waiting for Rick to give some kind of evidence that Hagee's rant against the Catholic attitude towards Jews during the Middle Ages was incorrect...

I'm still waiting.

And perhaps the Muslims in the Nederlands, Denmark, France, and England have shown us in America how their exemplary behavior and "model citizen" approach to emmigration should be welcomed here as well.

Then again, perhaps NOT.

THE DEMOCRATS IN A NUTSHELL

Free markets and personal responsibility are definitely lofty, conservative ideals to which I adhere. However, none of us live in a vacuum. Those who work hard, save what we can, buy what we can afford are unfotuanately very much affected by the actions of the greedy bankers, rapicious builders, and stupid sub-prime borrowers. Certainly they will suffer. But if the economy tanks as a result of their actions, all of us will suffer. No one said "Life was fair"...they do say capitalism is amoral though. Isn't this a perfect example of why we have government (and pay dearly for it)? Our great leaders are supposed to find a way in times like these to ameliorate the pain felt by us all. What would be wrong with that?
