Homosexuality was listed as mental illness for years. It's perversion, unnatural, self-seeking, and IS a mental illness. Give me a microphone. I'll tell the truth. Political winds can change.... quickly.
The only reason homosexuality ISN'T listed as the mental disorder nature proves it to be... is due to political winds changing.
It's still true. And those winds are going to change. The homo movement got violent with churches.

Yeah... I was at lunch today with a friend of mine. Her 4 year old daughter asked me if Santa came to my house, I said, "Nope". I looked at her. We'd never discussed it. She said, "I just tell the kids that their dad and I got them the presents". (But someone tells her daughter there is a Santa.) I said, "Yeah, I never taught my kids to believe in Santa either. It's all a lie."
But Creation isn't a lie, Rick... and I think that you have your facts wrong there... just like atheists skewer facts based on their own bias.

But the manner in which the left views Obama in such absolute purity of motives and deeds in all things, such a paragon of all virtue - I'm wondering if the Pope has yet canonized Obama?? The left has. No, wait, I'm being unfair. The left has NOT canonized Obama as if he was a saint. The left has DEIFIED Obama as if he was their God messiah.
Who are mere created beings to question God?? Rick, this blog you have written - well, actually, isn't it blasphemy?? No wonder the left gets angry with those who dare question Obama.
Many of them declare my worship of Jesus Christ irrational. Ummmmm... Jesus Christ really was sinless, He really was perfectly pure, He really did die for our sins, He really was born of the Virgin Mary, He really did rise from the dead, He really is the Son of God: Jesus Christ really is Messiah and God.
I mean, can the left now better understand my worship of my messiah, Jesus Christ - and how I consider Him sinless and worthy of all adoration... now that they have their own messiah God they worship and adore??
Rick, I just can't understand, really, how those who worship and adore a Chicago politician can really challenge my personal faith in the Son of God.
They're doing the same thing - except they've chosen a politician... and I don't find Obama worship more intelligent that Jesus Christ worship, from any logical point of view.
Just a couple of thoughts this Christmas Eve.
How can any of them who so adore Obama... not see they are worshiping him just as we worship Jesus Christ. I think wisdom goes with a man worthy of such praise.
I guess we all worship something.

You don't get it. As soon as homosexual fascists get marriage legalized, they want to stop religious speech. Furthermore, the entire left wing movement has been invigorated to overthrow all civil liberties in the marching forward of leftist political correctness outweighing all your rights and liberties that your founding fathers gave you.
You don't get it. This IS a key battle in determining whether fascism or the bill of rights rules in the USA. They won't stop with legalized marriage. They will demand the right that your children be taught that it is moral and right... and if you speak out against it - you're going to jail. That's where this is headed. This is extreme fascism.
It's the same as Islamo-fascism. It isn't a situation of 2 different views... it's homo-fascism that will insist on it's own version of pro-homo Sharia law.
I think, Rick, if you and others saw the homo-fascism as coming to rule you by homo sharia law... you'd see why I want the whole thing recriminalized and all rights stripped from this behavior.
It breeds fascism - and will bring the utter destruction of our nation as people who believe in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, DOI and the principles thereof.
You might as well be telling me that I shouldn't oppose the Islamicists imposing Sharia law and battling to make Sharia law the law of my nation - let it go... focus on the economy. No. Once Islam gets a foothold in Sharia law - there is no more freedom.

STILL AT RISK: THE SHOCKING IGNORANCE OF OUR YOUNG
I would argue that the lack of basic knowledge by today's students is more a function of an ever-expanding curriculum in the name of diversity and multiculturalism. We hear here what they don't know, but I think we'd be equally shocked by what they DO know. I have a high school-age daughter. She wouldn't know a thing about the American Civil War if we didn't teach it to her at home, but she knows that "we killed all the Indians with small pox-infected blankets" and she knows that "Che Guevera was a freedom fighter" and she knows that "Cuba has the best medical care in the world because they really care about their people" and she knows that "we bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki and killed tons of kids" but she doesn't know when that was, what war was going on, or why we did it. She hasn't been taught a thing about American politics except that Democrats and Republicans had "the great switch a long, long time ago" when the Republicans became the racist party instead of the Democrats. I kid you not. She has been taught that in school each of the past 4 years. She once asked me, "Mom, when did 'the great switch' happen? I have a quiz tomorrow." Believe me, these students are being taught something….

Sorry, but I think that Obama's perceived "symapthies" with radical Islamic ideology is a huge issue. What do the radical Islamists want? That's an important question. Once you've answered it, ask yourself how much of what they want Obama is willing to give. Are you comfortable with that? For example, do they want a separate Sharia Law system in the US that trumps our rule of law? Yes, I think they do. Is Obama willing to "discuss" that? Troubling. Do they want separate same-sex courses at our public colleges and universities? Yes, they do. Is Obama willing to discuss that? Troubling. Do they want public school teachers in majority-Muslim schools to be forced to wear long sleeves, long skirts, and head scarves? Yes, they do. Is Obama willing to discuss that? Troubling. Do they want to continue treating their wives and daughters as chattel, even while living in the US and in direct contradiction to US law? Yes, they do. Is Obama willing to discuss that? Troubling. Do they want government policies and decisions to be made through the lens of Islamic ideology? Yes, they do. Is Obama willing to discuss that? Troubling. You've shown examples from some bigoted people, but it is incredibly naive to suggest that Obama's background doesn't mean he will likely deal with radical Islam is a very different — and very accommodating — way. He most likely will, and I'd like to see him asked direct questions about some of these issues, but no one in the media ever will. Therefore, we're left wondering, worrying, and speculating. I don't want to learn the scale of his accommodation to radical Islam until after the election. Moreover, Obama has very strong ties to the radical left, a group that has shown it has more in common with radical Islamist ideology than with a traditional American ideology that embraces liberty and individual rights. You may not like how some people are discussing this issue with Obama, but surely you understand that the scale of our future capitulation to radical Islamist ideology is an issue at the very center of our national identity.
