"Or they are questions you should be asking but you aren’t because you’re not as smart, incisive, wise, and experienced as I am."
Hey, easy there skippy, your Cubbies haven't won anything yet, so you might want to hold back on the cockiness, lol. And, I have friends in France that do think Obama has a tail. (yes, I need new friends)
Good luck in the playoffs......Comment Posted By aj On 28.09.2008 @ 09:33

Good write up, but Obama has made WAY more gaffes than McCain. I cannot think of any McCain gaffes really, to be honest. And the case agst his age is weak. Compared to Obama's youth and naivete, I'll take the war hero----as will millions of Americans. The AZ senator will win...and the Obama cult members will be shocked, protest, riot, etc.Comment Posted By AJ On 23.07.2008 @ 22:03
"Politicians don’t deal in “what ifs.” They leave that kind of thing to fans of the Chicago Cubs. Those who aspire to be president deal with the reality of the here and now."
if the here and now is the twilight zone I agree with you.Comment Posted By aj On 11.07.2008 @ 15:29
Personally, I think Oblahma has as much chance of winning the Presidency as the Miami Dolphins have of winning the SuperBowl next year.Comment Posted By aj On 29.05.2008 @ 20:23
if you do decide to cover sports I hope you're better than Jon Greenberg for MLB.COM below....
"After only five games, Fukudome's status among Cubs fans sits somewhere between Ernie Banks and sunshine. His reputation in Chicago is Obama-esque."
You should have heard the roar for this guy in his first at bat yesterday. Unbelievable. But then, we're talking about Cubs fans here - not the brightest bulbs in any room.Comment Posted By aj On 5.04.2008 @ 21:59

"Was Geraldine Ferraro’s statement about Obama basically being an “affirmative action†presidential candidate so off the cuff or was it a deliberate, planned ploy using a liberal icon like Ferraro to raise perhaps the most devastating questions about Obama’s abilities? Can even the Clintons be that devious?"
Absolutely yes. and look for more.... Clinton has been doing this all year, staffers throwing something out for the media like sharks going to a chummed diving site, then denounce it after some time and they still get another week of shark feeding for free.
Look for more of the same it distracts from all of her misgivings that the press should be hammering her campaign on.
The problem with the "Hillary plot" scenario with Ferraro is that she is such an independent cuss I doubt whether she would make herself look as bad as she did even for Hillary. She's too old to get a payoff like a cabinet post or anything like that. What reason would she have to fall on a sword for Hillary?
