#4 makes an extremely good point about Henderson not being dead. During one of the four-screen transitions, it shows Henderson being wheeled out on a stretcher. The only reason 24 would show that is to signal that Henderson will stay in the picture. The Navy guy witnessing the event also had to be a factor. Henderson is Jack's doppelganger, the man who truly understands him, too valuauble to kill off -- yet
#5 is also on target. Maurice O'Brien will be a fresh breath for the show, a great match for Chloe and a badly needed element of humor.
