Joe and Valerie both committed perjury before congress; Valerie acted 100% out of democrat partisan politics when she sent her husband to Niger to produce a false account of Niger’s relations with Iraq. It is the Wilson’s who should have been convicted of perjury not Libby.

What got lost in the leak scandal, is that Libby provided the official confirmation for Richard Armitage's mention of Plame's possible CIA status. Any reputable publication requires confirmation from at least two sources for controversial information. Robert Novak could not have published the allegation without Libby's confirmation.
Joe and Valerie Wilson are the real patriots. They are the ones above ideology, capable of working for presidents of both parties. They saw the dangerous incompetence that has become the trademark of the Bush administration and tried to do something about it.
If a lone Italian operative, just looking to make a few bucks at the end of the month, can fool the top "intelligence" agencies, we have much more serious things to worry about:
