THE TIMELINE IS STILL A SUCKY IDEA

I like that McCain keeps bringing up Obama's warning of increased blood if the surge was implemented. Whether it works or not it doesn't matter but the people should be widely aware that on the most important issue of the day at the time Obama a) warned that the surge would increase casualties and b) the surge was implemented and did not increase casualties, and likely played a prominent role in reducing casualties.

I think this fits in well with McCain's 'case' - my record is filled with accomplishment and Obama's record can barely be articulated with a straight face. It's true that Obama will focus on some fancy future, but that's because he hasn't got a record. If the people choose the 'fancy future' over the 'record' then that's their right. But they should be informed and I'd like to see McCain keep it front and center - if he doesn't it will get, at best, lost in the sauce or, at worse, stamped down by the MSM. It's a key difference between the two and if McCain doesn't keep it out there himself the MSM will push it down the memory hole alongside other inconvenient truths.

PLEASE HELP OUR HOLLYWOOD FRIENDS WITH OBAMA JOKES

Life is truly circular. Barack pointedly asked to be allowed to devour his waffle. Just months later the waffle returned the favor.

FISA CLOTURE PASSES: WORLD ENDING, SAY NETROOTS

"If only for awhile, it was none the less refreshing to see Congress stand for the civil liberties of the people."

Too little too late. Where were they when FDR was rounding up Japanese Americans and Clinton's ATF was shooting incendiary rounds into a house filled with children and pregnant women?

NO SERIOUS BLACK GOP CANDIDATES

Anybody that has read Clarence Thomas' biography and Obama's Dreams From My Father knows what's going on and it has nothing to do with the Republicans. Who wants to be labeled a pariah within your culture?

PARTY LIKE IT'S 1980 ALL OVER AGAIN

Who won the elections in France, Germany, Britain and Canada again? I could have sworn the pro-American candidate/side won.

Funny way to show how much these peoples hate America.

CONSPIRACY MILL CHURNING ON OBAMA PASSPORT STORY

If Bush can single handedly smite the warmening of the seas just imagine what he can do with Barack's passport?

Like adding two more passports and making a small shelter for a tiny toy dog. Or skimming it across a tiled floor. Or snicker over a really bad photo. Or taking a magic marker and drawing a mustache on Obama's face (Laura always get's a kick out of that one).

HOWARD KURTZ IS A GOOSE

You, O's Grandma and Reverend Wright. Three peas in a pod. Obama's only being kept afloat by the media now. That doesn't go as far as it used to.

GOP GAMING THE DEMOCRATS

Wait a minute. Treading in the waters of the other party was a Democratic idea floated when the CW (as hammered home by the MSM) was that Republicans were unhappy with their candidates and the Dems were elated with their candidates. They even had POLLS to prove (think Dan Rather 'proof') it. Never mind that the Republicans who chose 'none of the above' were about the same % that chose Al Gore (about as 'none of the above' as you can get - if he couldn't put it in from the two inch line the party's going to let him try from the 3?) from the Dems. Then fate intervened, the roles were reversed and we get in your comments pouting and moaning. My 9 year old has a better understanding of irony then the Dems, if the comments here can be extrapolated to the larger population of Dems.

MEMORIES OF A JOURNEY HOME

Nice, Rick. Nice. So many folks of our age has his or her 'Barrington Hills' memories, but it takes a pointer, your post, to remind me, for one. I believe I'll have pleasant dreams this evening.

ON GETTING SCREWED

Isn't the 'edge' of the hypocrisy where the subject utilizing prostitutes, an illegal act, is serving in a body that could make the act legal? Flynt just wants to target Republicans so he broadens the 'edge' to opinions beyond the specific: the illegality of prostitution.

Granted that prostitution laws are today state law but I see no reason why the feds couldn't create a 'right' to prostitute one's self.
