Why are the illegal aliens in this company? Supply and Demand. By saving money on cheaper illegal wages, companies can continue to maintain lower prices. Why do you think Wal-Mart can keep its prices so low? Hell, they have branched out to provide cheaper luxary items. The real question is how much do we save as consumers compared to the amount of money we lose as taxpayers paying for public services that illegal immigrants use? That there is the answer to the question.

I believe we entered the war under prepared, but we are stuck there. We need to resolve our problems. Cutting and running clearly not the message we need to send to the rest the world. What I find interesting is that the best course of action the insurgency can do is maintain calm until the US leaves. If they truly wanted to "liberate" the Iraqi people they would fight a weaker Iraqi National army after the US left. In my opinion, the reason why they didn't undertake this concept is that their goal is not to "liberate" the Iraqi people. It is to try to make the US look bad. That is how they define victory.

Your previous post about DPW had inteligent reasons why this deal is flawed. This post however was pointless. If we look at this deal with hatred, are we no better than the Syrians that look at a McDonald's with contempt? We both see the foreign corporations as a form invasion by an enemy. It is also doubled by the fact these companies have some sort of links to "enemies". I do realize that McDonald's gets only small amounts of funding from the U.S. government. On both ends the analogy is absurd because U.A.E. is our ally, and even before this deal was even considered presentable U.S. military personnel were overseeing the port operations in Dubai to make sure it meets customs. In fact, the DPW works on a higher standard than the port corporations. Another interesting fact is that U.A.E. royal family are only shareholders of the corporation. They do not directly do anything with business. In fact they have U.S. members of the board that help run the company.Now the comment about the Corporate "Lil Eichmanns" that run the pharmaceutical firms. If you can prove that you are below a certain income level, you can receive free medications. That is another that corporate greed screws over the huddled masses!!!!!!

How much money is the UAE company saving us by working the ports? I think the deal is fine; I have family that work in Dubai. They are treated quite well. The UAE, Yemen, and Oman tend to have the policy of do what you want as long as you don't bother us. Unfortunately, it true there is slavery there. The majority of the traficked women and male "servants" come from India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the Phillipines. I think it is absurd when you leave someone in your "own" administration out of the loop. It's incredibly retarded when you leave your Secretary of Defense out of the discussion especially when the discussion involves national security.

I think this campaign finance should be of great interest for the American people. They are the ones who vote for these photogenic slobs we call politicians. Politicians have split loyalty between those who contribute to their campaign and those who voted them into office. I think those in office should have a greater sense of loyalty to their constituency above everyone else. Thats just this voters oppinion.
