THE RANK IDIOCY OF TBOGG

Rick,

Tano is right. You need to be more level headed all the time like Michael Moore, Howard Dean, Al Gore (still looking for Man Bear Pig), Cindy Sheehan, Hugo Chavez, Al Sharpton, and Ariana Huffington. See they are able to prove their points without blind aggression and exaggeration. Why can't you?

MAN, IT'S A BITCH SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER...EVEN WHEN YOU'RE NOT

Sweetie,

I really liked "Tough Crowd". The only problem with Quinn is that he fumbles at times. As for Colbert and Stewart, they had shows at the Democratic national convention in 2004.

Actually, I don't mind Jon Stewart. While many view the "Daily Show" as a liberal diatribe, Stewart actually makes fun of Democrats and other liberals as well. However, it's just hard to resist the foibles of the current administration. As for Colbert, we all know he is a diehard Democrat. I remember a couple years back when Colbert was sitting in for Jon Stewart. He was interviewing Ralph Nader. He was pretty hard on Nader, because Ralph's candidacy split the extreme liberals from the Democratic platform. That seemed to irk Colbert.

Anyway, at least, they didn't have David Cross at the dinner. He was the man quoted as saying, "The only thing evil left for Bush to do is eat a Jewish baby on TV." He is a funny actor, but as a comedian he is just piggy backing "Bush-bashing".

As for Tano, you are right the US is in shambles. Our economy is about veer of its axis, chaos and doom are widespread. While I admit the Republicans have goofed on a number of things, I don't believe they have done an entirely bad job. I would have to say just a shade under the last administration. Lucky for us, the last one was able to ride the internet bubble. Of course, it unfortunately burst at the beginning of the Bush administration. The Clinton administration had a lot of goofiness as well. Which most other Democrats refuse to remember. I am not even talking about the Lewinsky deal.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH UNITED 93? JUST ASK DANA

Brainster,

You are completely wrong. Al Gore will eventually find Man Bear Pig.

Wont Leve Naim,

You described the problem with bueracracy. Too many layers causes the government to play the telephone game. At the destination, the message gets completely messed up. The only problem is that lives are at stake.

RICKY'S FABLES

Gasoline is highly flamable but not as flamable as Hydrogen. Remember the Hindenberg? Oxygen is flamable as well. If you remember your chemistry, combing hydrogen gas and oxygen gas creates water, but after a great amount of energy is released. Your concept is interesting. You are essentially creating a piston with freon. I need see the calculations to believe in it. I wonder if you could use another liquid that has a medium temperature vaporization point?

Wont Leve Naim,

I remember at the end of the 90s there was great expectations of a perpetual motion machine that would revolutionize travel. It would mean never having to rely on fuel again. Well, when the Segway scooter/Ginger was released we learned it was powered by a battery. As for the water powered car? It was years away. Plus, any good chemist knows that both hydrogen gas and oxygen gas are highly volatile. There is a danger of releasing that. Stanley Meyer was came out with the idea of a water powered car in 1996. He was found to be a fraud.

see here:http://www.phact.org/e/dennis4.html

"Stanley Meyer 1996 claimed to have a water powered car and was also big on mixing Christianity and patriot politics in with fringe science. Meyer was found guilty of fraud after his Water Fuel Cell was tested before an Ohio judge. It is rare for an inventor to be prosecuted for an invention that does not work, but Meyer's problem was that he had been selling "dealerships", offering investors the "right to do business'' in Water Fuel Cell technology. Meyer refused to allow anyone else to measure his device. Dennis Lee invested in him. He died in early 1998.Stanley Meyers gets locked up for phony water powered cars."

FROM HERE ON OUT, THE AMNESTY PROGRAM IS A REPUBLICAN ISSUE

While I disagree with some of you about the immigration stance. It is interesting that of all times that Bush listened to France he to pick this one.........

Anyway our economy needs the cheap illegal alien labor. Most of the people coming from Mexico are actually working jobs most Americans wouldn't want to do. Not only that but they work for far less than an American would.

The ones who actually take American jobs that really matter are the one who come on wrong visas to the US. For instance, workers from India and China come "legally" on H-1 visas (correct me if I am wrong) to work as programmers. The catch is that the visa is designed to bring in workers that the US is lacking. There are programmers in the US. The only difference is that the ones from India and China are willing to work for about $10,000 less. I have no problem with this because I am a capitalist. However, I am troubled with the question. Am I an American or a capitalist first? I have learned that capitalism is better for American in the long run. It has helped us and real involvement by the government outside of a guide has been harmful.

However, these people that are helping our economy flourish is doing so illegally. We may have a hissy fit when we speed, but we still broke the law. These "undocumented" workers or falsely documented workers did break the law. There are 12 million of them here, and we can't truly determine who have been here illegally for two years or more from someone who just crawled under the barbed wire fence. I honestly believe this is a no win situation. That is why the Democrats are sitting back and watch the Republican party implode. The question that should be asked is not what should be done. It should be who started the heated debate. I can assure it was not the Republicans. Considering that this is an election year. The only ones who can profit from this are the Democrats. I am not dismissing the issue. I am just asking why not last year or even in 2004? That might have worked better than John Kerry, his constant reminding us of his Vietnam experience, and his "C" average at Harvard.

CIA VS. THE WHITE HOUSE: THE VIPS CONNECTION

Has anyone noticed that movies involving the CIA as a shady organization has a disappeared? Even the shows like the Boondocks have replaced CIA with Reagan as the cause of AIDS, crack, and poverty of the black community. It makes me wonder. Does this mean that Hollywood now sees the CIA as an incompetent and no longer this shadowy evil entity? Or do they see them as an ally to promote their idealogies. With being said......

"Cockburn" LOL If I had a name with that I would want revenge on all of the popular kids.

CIA VS. THE WHITE HOUSE: TY COBB AIN'T NO BENCHWARMER

The point is that Mary McCarthy isn't nonpartisan. That is the point. We knew already that Libby was a Republican. There was an assertion that McCarthy and a large group of CIA agents were working as nonpartisan workers. McCarthy donates large sums of money to the Democratic party and is now represented by lawyer who has represented Democratic clients before. This simply proves that she was a partisan spook.

If the intelligence wasn't faulty then why was there the Iraqi Liberation Act in 1998? It basically stated that we supported those who will try to overthrow of Saddam. ie. encouraging cival war. No offense to both parties but I wish that both Democrats and Republicans clean their own houses instead of pointing how messy the other one's is. Of course, that will never happen because that is not how politics works. How do you tell chimps to stop flinging crap when they are mad? You can't because it is easier to fling crap. This doesn't mean the CIA situation isn't at least a little bit fishy.
