Directing ridicule and scorn in his direction would be more effective in countering his bizarre beliefs.
Frankly, this is the Republican base.
I have been at services at Calvary Chapel (largest evangelical org. church) where Young Earth is gospel, and no science is accepted that might be in contradiction with their theology. Fossils were placed in the earth at the creation, the Ark held dinosaurs, The Bosom Of Abraham is a real place, and a geocentric universe possible.
Reporting on this might go:
"Gravity keeps us on the Earth. Some disagree.".
These are your people. Embrace them.

Having said that, I hear death wishes from righties all the time. In fact, a certain San Francisco radio station is getting the Mouse in a little bit of hot water on that very topic.

Interesting to see how many hate filled posts were linked here...none.
No one on the left wishes Malkin any harm, we just wish she would use some sense once in a while, and think before she speaks.
Unlike American Digest last week, who made fun of Jane Hamsher being a cancer survivor.

I worked at Capitol Recording Studios in Hollywood for 5 years. Capitol was a no-smoking facility at the time, though not really enforced.
One of my co-workers had the annoying habit of dropping his butts in the hallways on the cement floor. One day, when he did this, I finally snapped:
"I have to get down on that floor and work on equipment sometimes, so you can keep your sessions going. If you ever do that again, I will come to your house and shit on your floor. Got it?"
He got it and never dropped a butt again.
As I walked to the class I teach for UCLA Extension tonight, I had to walk past a girl (no, no other way, right in front of my door) smoking. I had to breath her smoke. She doesn't have the right to make me breathe her smoke.
Were smokers to feel and behave somewhat less as being entitled, laws like this might not be passed.

Sadly, there was nothing noble about taking out our former ally Saddam, in that it had exactly nothing to do with the true global war on terror in re: Al-Qaeda.
Many smart folks, including Bush 41, knew this was the likely outcome.
This isn't spilt milk, to be wiped up.
This is like pulling out a shotgun, blasting someone in half, and then saying: "What do I do now?" This booboo can't be kissed all better, no matter how hard we clap.
Oh, and Osama got his wish: we pulled out of Saudi Arabia, home to the Wahhabi Islamists.

That's because you, and Captain Ed, are not blinded by ideological loyalty but rather honestly care about America, like many of us on the other side of the political aisle.
The taunts for al-Qaeda are silly political gestures, and to take them (the taunts) seriously is just nuts. Of course as a group they are despised, and must be destroyed. On that we all agree.
