EX-PRESIDENT CLINTON IS A HYPERSENSITIVE BULLY

In the end, Clinton will probably not get his way. Nor will the wailing and gnashing of teeth by liberals about the cracks that will now appear in their carefully constructed Narrative that holds blameless their Saint Bill while making Bush and not Osama Bin Laden the villain of that tragic day matter much in the end.

Too late, Rick. Like a spoiled child holding his breath and pounding his little fists on the floor, the Jackass Party gets its way.

Again.

The next time some liberal SOB starts yakking about how Bush is crushing dissent and threatening political opponents, I fully expect you'll to give it to them with both barrels, Rick.

WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?

You read way too much into this, Rick. I checked out the web site, and it seems this is simply a political sideshow with a list of featured speakers that reads like a who's who of freaks and geeks for "social justice".

Still, it might be a good opportunity for an enterprising v-blogger. No doubt there will be loads of material ripe for satire.

CARTER PROVES EXISTENCE OF A MERCIFUL GOD

Rick,

I don't know if Carter is proof of a merciful God, but I do know he's proof that God has a sense of humor.

FOX REPORTERS FREED AFTER "CONVERTING" TO ISLAM

Carroll’s ordeal should remind all of us that no matter what one’s politics, all Americans are held hostage when one of us falls into the hands of these thugs.

This sentiment ought to be directed toward those among us who would rather see "conservative minions" like Centanni and Wiig beheaded than acknowledge the incident as a crime against Americans.

Admit it, Rick...leftists in this country no longer view people like us as Americans. In fact, it's debatable whether they even see us as human beings.

THE LIEBERMAN INQUISITION

Never interfere with an opponent engaged in an act of self-destruction.

This reminds me of the 2000 Republican primaries. There were a lot of pissed off Republicans after some members of the party took it upon themselves to run roughshod over McCain. It's possible Connecticut Democrats now feel the same way after the netnuts took it upon themselves to impose a litmus test.

If the 'bats truly believe sound and fury are legitimate ways of governing, then let them learn a lesson in the school of hard knocks come election time. There's nothing quite as entertaining in politics as an intra-party bloodbath.

AN UNSCHOLARLY, NON-LAWYERLY OPINION ON THE NSA DECISION

Indeed, in their feverish desire to kill the Bush presidency, they have undermined the war effort, giving tremendous aid and comfort to people who want to kill us all. Whether this is deliberate or not is beside the point. It is the logical outgrowth of their hatred.

Two question for you, Rick.

First, at what point during Bush's tenure do you think his opponents' disposition went from antipathy to blind hatred?

Second, should the Dems assume control of any branch of the federal within the next two to four years, how do you think they will deal with terrorism?

IF YOU CAN'T SEE THEM, THEY'RE NOT THERE

Aghast,

Perhaps if the UN wasn't constantly jumping the gun in its condemnation of Israel while politely ignoring the most egregious abuses committed by its member states, both the United States and Israel might be more willing to abide by its resolutions. There's no point playing poker when you know the deck is stacked against you.

In a world where conflict is increasingly assuming the form of war by terrorist proxy, the UN fulfills no practical role in negotiating peace between nations and "non-state actors." If Americans - or any other people claiming sovereignty - subborn their rights and prerogatives to the whims of the UN, they will not remain free.

I wouldn't say this sorry ass excuse of an armistice is the death knell for Israel, but Olmert has certainly taken a step in that direction.

WINNERS AND LOSERS IN THE ISRAELI-ISLAMIST WAR

...unless you count those dwindling numbers of us who still believe that defeating Islamism is the most important task facing civilization today.

There you go again with the pessism, Rick. I appreciate your realism, but I can assure you that these people will never succeed in making the United States a dhimmi client state.

Our numbers are not dwindling. Thanks in large part to people like you, Malkin, Roggio, et al, more people are awakening to the fact that the islamofascist threat is far more insidious than the MSM or the federal government would have us believe.

All too often in the course of this war, we've been our own worst enemies. The only way we can be beaten is if we choose to defeat ourselves. Avoiding that outcome may require a reckoning, but it's a price we must be willing to pay.

Keep the faith.
