SARAH PALIN AND THE ASPIRATIONAL POLITICS OF RESENTMENT

"And which operation in Iraq did he (Biden) claim credit for?"

It seems Biden thinks the Obama administration should take credit for all of it. As he stated on Larry King on Wednesday Night:

"I am very optimistic about -- about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration."

You just can't make this up!

WHAT PLANET HAS OBAMA BEEN VISITING THE LAST YEAR?

"As far as I can tell, he’s hard at work fixing the problem George Bush caused."

Yo, Dick, for a Partisan Hack, you don't even make a good argument when you bastardize the facts to fit your agenda.

"He pile $1 trillion on top of the $7,000,000,000,000 your boy racked up before leaving office to save us from financial Armageddon and now he’s owrking to pay it back."

Obama repeatedly insisted that he inherited massive budgetary problems from George Bush, but the Con Law professor may want to retake his high-school civics class. Congress passes budgets, not the President, and the last three budgets came from Democrats. In three years, they increased annual federal spending by $900 billion, while the admittedly profligate and irresponsible Republican Congresses under George Bush increased annual federal spending by $800 billion — in six years. And during the last three years before taking office as President, Obama served in the Senate that passed those bills, and he voted for every Democratic budget put in front of him.

"Stock market, up thousands of points, interest rates still practically zero, two major auto companies saves, Iraq almost done, and Afghanistan 15,000 troops larger with more on the way."

Show me the way Obambi pushed the stock Market - LOL. Interest rates are near zero because the fed, under Obama, keeps buying their own treasury notes in order to keep the rates low. Two major auto company saves that will continue to cost the American taxpayer more and more billions of dollars in the future to continue to keep them afloat - all to pay off the Unions. Iraq was almost done when Obambi came to court due to a surge he insisted would fail and following a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) on the drawdown signed by George Bush! And you folks on the left are so enamored of more troops on their way to Afghanistan!

"Health care reform is on the verge of passing after 100 years and veterans are finally getting the attention they deserve."

Health Care is on a death watch with the Democrats still holding a supermajority in the Senate - Scoot Brown has yet to be sworn in. A Death watch because even with a SuperMajority, Obama couldn't lead his way out of a paper bag to get the Dems accross the finish line. And the Democrat support for the veterans is only because they are now under their watch and it is no longer good form for the Dems to applaud those that carry "We support the troops when they shoot their officers" signs anymore.

It is interesting to me that Rick, in his takedown of SOTU, referenced of all places a HuffPo diarist. For someone who expects the GOP to disappear into the history books, I find it hunorous to see your own side slipping the salamy to Obamba!

Failure is being far too kind!

OBAMA'S FRIENDS ON THE LEFT GIVING HIM 'THE BIG FREEZE'

"I cannot think of anyone offhand"

Unfortunately, Hillary is the one name that pops up!

Robespierre is reputed to have said: "I must see which way the crowd is headed, for I am their leader."

The difference between Robespierre and Obama is at least Robespierre was actually trying to see where the crowd was going.

DOES A BROWN VICTORY POSE A DANGER FOR THE GOP?

". . I say: reconciliation."

Spoken like someone bound and determined to complete their “lemmings” death march as they kamikaze their way into the history books.

The winning of a single seat in the Senate may upset the fillibuster-proof power of the Dems but will not put the Republicans in the Driver's seat. They are still the minority party and will have to continue to react to the majority party in dealing with any upcoming legislation. It will still be dependent upon the Dem's approach to governing that will drive the debate.

I believe Obama will see that one vote as a challenge to his intellect and charge ahead with his agenda. Obama has never dealt with true adversity in his entire life. He has always been on the side of the majority and his only adversaries of note have been within his own party until McCain showed up and that was not much of a contest. One vote will not deter him. He will approach the problem as he has with all other problems - the power of his will and intellect will prevail over all. He will try to get another vote - a Voinovich or a Snow or a "Fill in the blank" to bend to his will and continue his agenda.

Obama is deep rooted in the left and will never be the politician Clinton was. Clinton never had a deep anchor in the left and could about face in a heartbeat. Clinton, after '94, represented the minority position. He, with guidance from Dick Morris, learned to rule from the Center and did a farly good job of it. Obama does not have the advantage of having a
Dick Morris. He has surrounded himself with Chicago tuffs and Far Left ideologues. For Obama to do so would be paramount to a leopard changing his spots.

Ain't. Gonna. Happen. Unlike those Roman leaders from days gone by, Obama is more like Napoleon - placing the crown upon his own head.

Don't expect a change in his agenda. At least not until after the November midterms.

SCOTT BROWN BITES THE HEADS OFF LITTLE CHILDREN AND DRINKS THEIR BLOOD

"So cry me a river over Massachusetts please."

Rick and I won't be the ones crying come Wednesday!

(Note: It does my heart good to think of Ted Kennedy's corpse twisting in his grave!)

WHAT HUFFPO'S BILL QUIGLEY WON'T TELL YOU ABOUT HAITI

"Let’s see … Haiti won its independence from France in 1803, so shouldn’t Quigley be yelling this is all Thomas Jefferson’s fault?"

Only if Jefferson was a Republican!

Consider the source. Mr. Quigley, along with being a frequent diarist for HuffPo is also the Managing Director for the Center for Constitutional Rights.

The following was taken from Wikipedia:

According to NGO Monitor, an Israeli non-governmental organization with the stated aim of monitoring other non-governmental organizations in the Middle East, the Center for Constitutional Rights has a biased political position against Israel. NGO Monitor writes, "CCR consistently disregards the context of terror, denies Israel’s right to self-defense, and accuses it of deliberately targeting civilians."

and

Matthew Vadum of Capital Research Center, a conservative non-profit organization which aims to study non-profit organizations, called the Center for Constitutional Rights The Terrorists' Legal Team because of his belief that CCR is "an ultra-leftist public-interest law firm" that "has protected the supposed constitutional rights of those who would destroy the United States."

CCR has also filed the following lawsuits for individuals incarcerated at GitMo:

Al Odah v. United States
Barre v. Gates
Celikgogus v. Rumsfeld
Khan v. Bush
Zalita v. Bush

OF AX GRINDING AND SCORE SETTLING

"As I said, when the GOP actually gets a single, solitary black person elected to the Senate or Congress then they can lecture the Democrats about anything having to do with race."

From Wikipedia: "J. C. Watts served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2003 as a Republican, representing the 4th congressional district in south-central Oklahoma."

You were saying!
