I'm not voting for McCain.
I'll vote a straight Democratic ticket. "Americans" want a socialist who'll destroy the country? I can help give them that, and not provide an ounce of cover by putting RINO's back in. Let them "get it good and hard", as Mencken would say, dipped in ground glass and no lube.
Maybe after a generation living like Eastern Europe under the Russians, this country will realize a few fundamental truths.
Time to put this country back into the crucible, refine out the slag, and remake it.

Michael, abolish welfare/Medicaid/AFDC and then talk to me about full employment. Oh, and slap on a consumption tax that can't be evaded by illegals like payroll taxes can. The biggest reason illegals are attractive as a labor force is that the businesses are using government programs as a salary supplement.

Rick, it's very simple:
These are the direct descendants of the Civil War Copperheads. They are anti-American. Treasonous would not be too strong a term. And until the rest of us realize we have the slavery loving Copperheads back, and deal with them as they deserve, we are not going to win the war on terrorists.

Unless you acknowledge that the careers of every single military officer are dependent on placating the party / philosophy controlling the Congress they must ask for confirmation of their promotions and for appropriations to programs they command / support, I hardly think that you can take the judgements of any bureaucrat at face value.

Actually, Rick, the Japanese "borrowed" the idea for modifying their torpedoes from the Royal Navy, which used the idea the preceding year to attack the Italian fleet in Taranto, Italy, which also has a shallow harbor.
