RUMSFELD: LONG PAST TIME FOR A CHANGE

You sir, are one of the fools who would have fired Grant and hired McClellan. You, like unfortunately most, are uninformed captives of a belligerent, anti-American, transnational progressive, and Chamberlainesque press.

Zinni is anti-Semitic and he and the rest of these 6 clowns are Clintonista pacifists. Not a one of them made Flag rank before or after the anti-military Clinton Administration.

Please note that not a one of them publicly argued against gutting the Army of 4 Divisions in 1998 and in fact supported the reductions. If they had they wouldn't have had a partisan flag to wave in this battle. They would have never had a flag.

These are the clowns that support the "blue helmet" military and not the US military. You sir, are a dupe.

DUBAI-BAI: IT'S ALL OVER BUT THE WHIMPERING

This is an extremely sad day for the America I love. This is a strategic defeat, possibly a fatal one in the Long War, Ver. 2.0. It reminds me of Soviet Lend/Lease which was the right decision. This decision is wrong and may be paid for in blood and treasure for decades to come.

Saudi Arabia and Dubai have operated marine and air terminals in the US for years. I have a hard time blaming Bush for the “tone deafness” of 3rd tier bureaucrats who obviously, given 15 to 20 years of similar deals, did not foresee the political firestorm. The only sane actor in this disaster has been Bush and a few informed bloggers.

A tactical win-win for xenophobes and the Libs; a potentially catastrophic strategic loss for America and the West.

Rick, I though you were smarter than this but it appears you've joined the sheeple charging over the cliff into the abyss. You're sounding more like a Copperhead every day, at least regarding the Bush administration. The truth is this battle was lost by the 15th of February. The only thing the Pres. could do was stand by a critical ally. At least the UAE knows someone in this country is sane.

DANCING ON THE GRAVES OF BLACK PEOPLE

Great articlie Rick.

Only thing I'd change it a descriptor. "Baying Hounds" doesn't work for "Whittle" sheep. I've started using "Ragin' Rumimants" If you insist on using a canine species, "Howling Hyenas (Crocuta crocuta)" would be a better metaphor.

BRING ME THE HEAD OF LUIS POSADA CARRILES

Rich,

FYI, there is no "nn" in Havana. More importantly there is no "nn" at all in Spanish. The Latin "nn"
was replaced centuries ago with "n~"

DEAR MR. PRESIDENT: SHUT YOUR YAP!

Yah! You're all ranting about a Leftard Media conflation of what Duyba "actually" said. He didn't say "alongside". Can any ony here read or are you all sheeple for the Leftards?

President Bush said Monday he believes schools should discuss ‘’intelligent design’’ alongside evolution when teaching students about the creation of life.

During a round-table interview with reporters from five Texas newspapers, Bush declined to go into detail on his personal views of the origin of life. But he said students should learn about both theories, Knight Ridder Newspapers reported.

‘’I think that part of education is to expose people to different schools of thought,’’ Bush said. ‘’You’re asking me whether or not people ought to be exposed to different ideas, the answer is yes.’‘

If you look at the bolding above you'll see just how well you've been manipulated by Leftard Media.
Using just your source, it's clear the Prez didn't conflate evolution with ID, the effing media did. Because you're aware of the Kansas Kooks you allow yourself to be flamed.

I'm sure you wouldn't object any more that I do to teaching "comparative origin belief systems" in the context of social studies; or would you?

Hell, Dubya could have handed out a written statement on comparative religions and LM would conflate it with secular humanism because that's their religion.

TERRORISM'S LATEST VICTIM

Rick,

You and your readers may find this of interest.

This link will provide additional insight into the doublespeak of so-called moderate Muslims. The western world and its leaders’ failure to acknowledge the history and beliefs of Islam may well insure our destruction at the hands of barbarians.

9/11 CONSPIRACIES AND NADAGATE

Rick,

One word.

Amen!

In business and politics we always need to follow the quest for money.

In bureaucracies we need follow the quest for power. Big government and unions breed big bureaucracies which feed as much on power as money. Many studies have shown that a significant majority of career bureaucrats are Democrats.

Reactionary battles for retention of power are "the" central theme of bureacracies; whether government, corporate, religious, or tribal.

There is little doubt in my mind that Miller is in jail to hide a CIA source and it's very likely that Miller's source was Plame herself or one of her bureaucratic co-conspirators.

THEY'RE APPEASERS NOT TRAITORS

Rick,

The question is what morphs delusional appeasement to sedition and ultimately to treason?

Any clear thinking person understands that terror is the tactic of choice of a militarily inferior force and is designed to divide the enemy as a step towards ultimate victory.

When does a society at peril from members suffering serial delusional appeasement disorder (SDAD, tm)start isolating the diseased in order to assure the society's survival?

Is not the purpose of sedition and treason laws to effect such isolation?

NEW DEFENSE BY THE LEFT OF DURBIN

Rick,

Even though I haven't thought out a reponse for the polemics of the Left, I do believe that the whole torture debate is not to be answered by politicians, polemicists, and especially human rights activists.

It's to be answered with a (so far) proven physical law. After all, war does require physicality, does it not?

Newton's 3rd law may be formally stated:

"Forces always occur in pairs. If object A exerts a force F on object B, then object B exerts an equal and opposite force -F on object A"

or in slogan style:

"Every action has (or requires) an equal and opposite reaction"

Seems to me that Old Testament moralists thousand of years ago had it right and didn't have to wait for Newton.

An eye for an Eye!
