I've often felt that it was all up to fate and uncertainty too.But as time went by I came to realize how much of what I have, as well as what I
have to be thankful for, is a direct result of the actions of others. Not just
from family, mind, but from numerous friends as well, many spread out all over
the country. I've also come to realize how the quality of living where I reside
is a result of the work of countless other people I don't even know.This is enough for me to conclude that our good fortune comes in part from the
sum of the actions of all the people who came before us, many of them immigrants
or the children/grandchildren of same, all working towards a better life for
themselves, and by extension for the rest of us.In my opinion, any notion of appreciating or being thankful for where we are and
what we have should recognize our common link as Americans, in addition to
appreciating the fickle vagaries of fate.Merry Christmas everyone!

If you haven't figured out by now that obscenities are not allowed on this website, one must conclude you were either dropped on your head as a child or more likely, do not have the vocabulary to express yourself any other way.
Suggestion; get yourself a dictionary and write a comment without the expletives and as long as it is germane to the post, it will be published.
