SARAH PALIN AS THE PIVOT FOR 'NEW' GOP

So now we have yet another litmus test, born of the necessity for atheists to have confirmation of their beliefs in a mechanical Universe.

Actually the litmus test is pass first year high school biology.

Heh - in fairness, it is incorrect to state that Palin is a creationist or even promoted creationist teachings for Alaska public schools. In fact, that was a lie spread by a couple of lefty Alaska bloggers. She specifically opposed the teaching of creationism in Wasilla schools.

This is one of the problems with discussing Palin. There were so many outright lies and falsehoods as well as published rumors about her that trying to understand who she truly is becomes extremely difficult. There has never been a campaign of falsehoods mounted against a modern day candidate as there was against Palin. The list is endless - something like 125 prominent published lies and misstatements of her beliefs. A lot of it came from her enemies in Alaska that the press never bothered to check.

I hate Sarah Palin. But what was done to her by her opponents and the media was unconscionable.

The GOP either embraces the teabaggers, which means Dale Robertson and Orl Taitz come along for the ride, or they don't.

Win win as far as I'm concerned.

The stakes are too high, and by unifying the GOP to slaughter Democrats en masse Palin will be the go-to woman.

A would-be leader in the Tea Party movement is seeing red after an act from the past has found itself in the light of a new decade and has commenced to promptly biting the misguided man in his derriere.

Dale Robertson operates TeaParty.org, a popular website based around the needs and whims of those that call themselves “Tea Baggers,” a group of disenfranchised citizens that are utterly upset with the direction in which our nation is headed.

A photo of Robinson practicing his freedom of speech during a Tea Party Rally on February 27th of last year shows exactly how the power structure in America is mapped out, at least, according to himself and the Tea Baggers.

“Congress = Slaveowner, Taxpayer = Niggar.”

This is just first incident, by summer there will be many more because these angry white guys just won't be able to help themselves.

You'll whine about how it's not fair and liberals are smearing you, all the while more and more Dale Robertson's will be out there.
I'm especially pleased he's the owner of TeaParty.org

Republicans = Teabaggers = Nutcases won't win you any elections.

That’s the price you pay when you mount the tiger and attempt to ride the whirlwind.

Mixed metaphor much? :-)

Unemployment under 8% in 2012, we kick yer butts. Simple as that.

2010: A TIME OF TESTING

Teabaggers, the gift that keeps on giving.

Dale Robertson, a Tea Party activist who operates TeaParty.org, is getting stung for an old photo — taken at the Feb. 27, 2009 Tea Party in Houston — in which he holds a sign reading “Congress = Slaveowner, Taxpayer = Niggar.”

And giving.

Mike Parry, Minnesota State Senate Candidate, Defends Racist Twitter Message

Last week, Minnesota State Senate candidate Mike Parry scrubbed from his Twitter account messages calling President Obama a "power hungry arrogant black man" and linking Democrats to pedophiles.

Back in the day racists knew how to spell.

The real point: Does the US have Israel’s back? In previous administrations it was a question that need not even be asked. With this administration, it cannot be assumed!

Oh please.

Just how much of the $60 billion or so that the US gives Israel has been revoked?

Answer: none.

It's all a bunch of FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) foisted on us by the GOP, desperate to get back into power by any means at all.

If it means hamstringing foreign policy, opposing initiatives that they would gladly trumpet of put forward by George Bush then so be it.

What monstrous perfidy has Obama heaped on Israel? How about asking them to slow the settlements and seriously negotiate.

Moan. Wail. It's the end of the world.

God bless the GOP.

DENVER (AP) -- A Colorado state employee could be disciplined for sending an e-mail showing President Barack Obama shining the shoes of former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

The 73-year-old Colorado Department of Transportation worker forwarded the e-mail to at least four co-workers and others on Dec. 22 using her state e-mail account. One of the recipients outside the agency complained.

The new year is just four days old and the teabaggers are already at it. Maybe we should start a pool to see who calls President Obama "boy" first?

look before you leap. The guy is a registered Democrat.

I am relatively sanguine about our electoral chances going forward because the teabaggers that make up the base these days will doubtless be ever more over the top and foaming at the mouth berserk as the year progresses.

However "weak" the Democrats are thought to be, the Republicans will match them in whack job craziness.

They have no policies, only slogans when it comes to governance. Their big idea is they should be put back in charge because Obama hates America and won't say terrorist.

Sadly, for 49% of the population that will be sufficient for the GOP to get their votes. I am counting on the 2% to remain more horrified at Glenn Beck's acolytes running the country than they are of Obama's middle name.

If unemployment is under 10% in November we win, or more precisely the GOP doesn't gain much. And if they continue down the road of Palinization we'll kick their a**es in 2012.

THE WORST PIECE OF LEGISLATION IN MY LIFETIME

If some of this would have accomplished some of the goals the Democrats set out to fulfill, there’s a chance that reasonable conservatives could have supported it.

You've bee truthful in your opinion, even though I disagree with you conclusions, but you have to know that assertion is downright false.

The GOP strategy was no compromise, and no support for any of Obama's programs.

It is only because Republicans are backed into a corner rhetorically as "war fighters" that they feel they must ultimately support Afghanistan money, otherwise, I guarantee they'd vote no on that too.

Period.

That is the strategy for 2010, and Jesus Christ, Gandhi, and Mother Teresa wouldn't have gotten a different result.

BOOBS, BIRTHERS, AND BIRCHERS

The Democratic party has for many years used a strategy of marginalizing their opponents by giving them a name meant to demean.

So the John Birch Society isn't a bunch of whack-job nuts?
