(Note: It does my heart good to think of Ted Kennedy’s corpse twisting in his grave!)
If there is an equivalent to "some mouth breathing, thumb sucking liberal", perhaps this guy is it?
I would condemn the ad as untrue. I would also point out you are incorrect when you say "there has never been a recorded instance of any hospital worker refusing to give the morning after pill to a rape victim if it was requested." Look up the California case of Brownfield vs. Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital.Comment Posted By Pug On 16.01.2010 @ 22:11
Sorry, Rick. You are going to have to leave the Republican Party. They don't want guys like you anymore. Can't you see that?
They want Michelle Malkin and Glenn Beck. True believers and fanatics only. Just read the comment by David above. He says Newt Gingrich is a liberal and should be run out of the party, and he followed that up with a dose of standard Reagan worship, though he clearly doesn't have clue as to many things that happened during Reagan's presidency. That's your base these days.
That is all.Comment Posted By Pug On 2.11.2009 @ 19:58
Obama going to Dover was a decent thing to do. That is all.Comment Posted By Pug On 29.10.2009 @ 19:06

It didn’t start with Bush either, of course. Since Carter, the White House has become more and more aggressive with the media...</i.
Go back and check out the things Woodrow Wilson did once the U.S. entered W.W. I. The papers didn't even report on the massive Spanish flu pandemic so as not to hurt morale. Critics, including a U.S. Congressman, were sentenced to long prison terms for sedition. What passes for tough tactics today are nothing.
Obama takes a couple shots at a network that has been trashing him non-stop for over a year now. So what?Comment Posted By Pug On 23.10.2009 @ 13:53
... the mocking of their beliefs and values by elites and liberals is not imagined.
I think this is true. I also think these are folks who have mocked and smeared the other side for decades, accusing them of being "sick", "counter culture" and lots of other words that Newt Gingrich even compiled into a list of handy words to use.
That's the way it goes. If you dish it out maybe your should be ready to take it, too.Comment Posted By Pug On 17.10.2009 @ 12:12
...there are also prominent Republicans who will publicly say that President Obama, or other democrats, have good intentions, love their country, etc. In the democrat party today, there are no such gentlemen or gentlewomen — and there hasn’t been for a decade or more.
We're good guys. They're bad guys. It's that simple.Comment Posted By Pug On 14.10.2009 @ 19:17
And why do you brand anyone who disagrees with you a liberal?
Because it is the easy thing to do and it makes him feel good, too.Comment Posted By Pug On 14.10.2009 @ 19:15
Well it was one hell of an eleven days, OK?
Actually, for some of us who kind of like the president it will be fun just watching the reaction from the Obama haters. The spluttering outrage should be kind of entertaining.
I wish I could have seen the look on Sean Hannity's face when he got the news flash.Comment Posted By Pug On 9.10.2009 @ 06:54
If trying and failing to secure the Olympics for Chicago makes Obama looks bad, the explosion of cheering his (and our) loss by right-wingers makes them look even worse.
Sane Americans are not cheering that America didn't land the Olympic games.
I agree with that. I am not cheering that Chicago lost. But I am relieved given that the amount of money that would have been wasted through fraud and chicanery would have been astronomical. It is unseemly, this celebration by the right. There are plenty of reasons to oppose Chicago getting the Olympics without hoping for failure by Obama.
