SURPRISING RESTRAINT FROM THE LEFT
This administration did nothing to fight terrorism, it made matters much worse while playing to your fears and longing for revenge against arabs in general. Virtually no practical steps have actually been taken to protect this nation because Bush couldn't keep his eye on the ball.

Terrorism is indeed a real danger. More so now than ever as Iraq has radicalized the entire Arab world and is used as a recruitment tool. You keyboard commandos just don't get it. I have spent a lot of time in the Mideast and have seen the change on the streets. Once respected and admired, America is now feared and distrusted. And as you wingnuts have demonstrated, fear can lead to irrational actions.
Frankly, I don't think the Dems can do much to stop what has already been set in motion, but at least the world will know that we're not ALL completely insane.
