OK, narcissist yes, but virtually nothing would have made you think he would opt for the bunker mentality now on display. I know I thought his passing up the FoxNews primary debate in Las Vegas was more pandering to the paranoid masses rather than an early indicator of his own paranoia of FoxNews, which now has festered into something pathological.
Apparently, that story of the auto czar invoking the “Madman theory of the Presidency” on the Chrysler bond holders wasn’t just the auto czar talking talking through his hat, but in fact was the real truth.

Maybe operatives at the CIA could claim that they raped their al Qaeda prisoners .. oh .. didn't they sort of rape the prisoners at abu Ghraib prison ... and they took pictures, just like Roman Polanski did with the 13 year old.
Now we have the proof that abu Ghraib prison really wasn't that bad .. they were just trying to do their "Roman Polanski" thing.

I can understand the outrage of Keith Olberman, Van Jones was the most important member of the Obama Administration, after Obama himself, … NOT.
You’d think with ObamaCare and the rest of the Obama agenda in their death throws that Keith Olberman would have “bigger fish to fry” … but he does have his priorities, as warped as they may be.

Even "The Won" doesn't have the time to be doing these postings himself .. as he is too busy leading (cough .. cough) the nation, not necessarily to a "better place" but to a "Hope & Change" place.
But the bill [H.R. 1 EH AKA "stimulus"] goes further. One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions (442, 446). These provisions in the stimulus bill are virtually identical to what Daschle prescribed in his 2008 book, “Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis.” According to Daschle, doctors have to give up autonomy and “learn to operate less like solo practitioners.”
Still don't see the death panels. Or anything I haven't written against. What is it exactly you're taking me to task for? Jesus Christ read what I've written for God's sake. Yes, there will be rationing. Yes there will be interference by bureaucrats. But how in hell does that lead to death panels? And again, your slippery slope argument fails the most rudimentary rules of logic by saying that people will just sit back and let it happen, that no one will object if nationalized health care ever even got close to something like death panels. Read my slippery slope post. If you did, it went right over your head without even mussing your hair.
Do you know anything about logic at all? The people advancing death panels are extremely shallow thinkers who cannot logically extrapolate an outcome from the facts to reach a reasonable conclusion based on reality, not emotion. In other words, they are not thinking at all - only reacting emotionally to their fears.
I am going to say it again; there are plenty of slippery slope arguments in the bill that are not logical fallacies. Stick with those and drop death panels.

I see a plethora of bills on both the House and Senate side, and then there is the "mind of Obama" which, legislators keep complaining, seems unable to convey it's thoughts from one end of Pennsylvania Avenue to the other. Finally, there are those folks who think this is all one big "cr@p sandwich" and want none of it.
Considering that most Republicans are loath to admit that the RNC probably couldn't organize a barbeque, to hear Democrats blaming the RNC for organizing a nation-wide campaign against Democratic Congress-critters is beyond ludicrous. Those that engage in this banter are richly deserving the derision that comes their way.
Frankly, I agree with anyone who says there is a lot of disinformation and even more misinformation around, but rushing legislation through doesn't make any of that go away .. it guarantees it.
