You know, that never occurred to me until now, but of course if you think about it for a second you realise that it's perfectly true!
And then there's the fact that our very first military response to to a Japanese attack on Hawaii was to invade North Africa! Was FDR some sort of geographically-challenged chimp who couldn't find Japan on a map?
