9/11 TRUTHERS GUT PUNCHED BY HISTORY CHANNEL

My Friends

We are all human beings.....we are all looking for love and acceptance as we wonder along this life trying to deal with ourselves.

The key to this debate is to have pure intention.Whatever you do have pure intention in your motives. This will eventually put you on a path to your own personal truth.Your truth may be different from others but compassion can transcend the way we view the world and others.

We are all entire universes seeking understanding of ourselves with an illusional matrix. The final answer is complete deattachment of this matrix of dualism which keeps us trapped in opinionated truths, half truths and lies - to become the third observer and eminate compassion to all beings.

Rememeber this is not a story, its a place.

CONSERVATIVES TO BUSH: "KEEP YOUR GRUBBY PAWS OUT OF OUR PRIVATE SPACES!"

I have difficulty understanding the outcry of those who disagree with surviellance techniques.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO HIDE??
If you are innocent, then why the concern?
Like your article states 99% of all information gathered is screened by a computer. Only if one of the many preset indicators are triggered does any further review/action begin.
AGAIN, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO HIDE??

1980 OR BUST

Though it wasn't a remark made by Moulitsas, a few years ago David Sirota, during a proto-progressive/socialist gathering in Seattle, also described the progressive movement as wanting to "take over" the Democratic party. Despite trying deperately to find a link to the audio from the meeting, for my own blogging purposes, I can't find it.

BTW, I appreciate your coverage of YK, and the BTR interview with Ed Morrissey of Captain's Quarters, but in my opinion not enough attention has been paid to the Middle East Panel led by the discredited Mearsheimer.

REFLECTING ON 230 YEARS OF BLOOD AND SACRIFICE

Rick,

Yes we did flirt with empire in the late 1800's. And as a nation we decided we did not want that.

We have taken on the responsibility because no other nation or group of nations will. God knows we have tried to get the rest of the world involved through the league of nations and the UN. But the USA is different then the rest of the world. It was founded on an idea. So other nations have a different view of the world they we do. I to have disillusioned with the WH when it comes to this war. They have never asked the country to sacrifice nor have they defended the war and its reasons for the war. In fact they have made more effort with their open borders immigration bill then the war to wins hearts and minds of the US citizen. Be that as it may, that does not mean that the war is not worth winning or supporting. We can support the mission and the troops and not support the leadership.

Becasue of our nation taking our the responsiblity of peace keeping the world as a whole has been at peace for close to 60 years now. Sure we have had regional wars between nations and we have sometimes been required to join in those wars.

However, because of the the fighting strength of our soldiers and the willingness of our nation to sacrifce for the global good we as a people have reaped the benefits of that most noble mission with the highest standard of living, the best healthcare, the strongest economy, the best higher education system, the most freedom in the world.

We have achieved all of these things because of our soldiers willingness to police and patrol the world so that the wars stay far from our shores. For this I am and will be forever thankful of those that enlist.

CPAC REVEALS CONSERVATIVE FRACTURES

I'm happy someone else corrected that the quote attributed to Marshall was made by Justice Stewart.

I LOVE McCain. He has balls, which 99% of politicians lack. He is DEAD wrong on immigration but great on everything else, including McCain Feingold which doesnt go nearly far enough. Taking ALL the BIG money out of politics is THEE MOST democratic measure possible. Spending money is no more speech than is nude dancing or flipping someone the bird. They are all expressive forms. Publically financed elections, term limits, spending caps on congress are all things I could see McCain supporting. pLus he's a hawk on defense and has been saying for OVER 3 years that we've NEVER gad enough boots on the ground in Iraq. Personally, I think we need a draft with NO deferments or exceptions for anyone who is physically and mentally qualified. 2 years and your out.

Most Conservatives will pander to the sex loathing bible belt crowd, as did Bush, but then govern as a capitalist and echo the lies about how improitant capital gains tax cuts are for the economy. No bright hoesnt person truly beleives that. As a policy matter we shoudl awlays FAVOR labor over capital. McCain is not as doctrinaire as some of the real wing nuts, like Mitch McConnell (the guy makes my skin crawl) and might actually support policies that make sense.

KARBALA ATTACK: "A VERY DISTURBING DAY"

Drongo:What people often do is write out Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The Sunni Shiite split as witnessed in Baghdad could engulf the whole middle east. A nuclear armed Iran poses as much of a threat to Saudi Arabia and Egypt as it does to Israel because they know that after Israel is nuked they become the next targets.

Rick, This version makes a little more sense. The fact is that Islam has long tentacles and these terrorist could be American born and Iranian trained. Wont know that til all the details come out.

RUMMY OUT. GATES IN

"I think the most startling realities are those we are avoiding. Let’s face it, we are not the military superpower we think we are. Our all-volunteer military was wrongly configured and it is puny. Forty years ago we had 350K troops in Vietnam going full bore for the half million mark with heavy military commitments to NATO and the rest of ASEAN. At 150K deployed in two theaters, we have bare cupboards. The President "

PUNY? How long did it take to win the War In Afgan. & Iraq?? Yes, WIN, which we did! I question that assesment!

Now, Occupation?? That's a dif. story and obviously Not planned for! Lets face it, Rummy and Bush were caught with their Pants down! I'm not saying that they should have Known, Did anyone think this is what we would have to deal with??

I have a real problem with that "Occupation" thing! I knew that it would take time to get Iraq up to speed, but as many, my patience is about stretched thin!

Do we really want to have a 250,000 occupying force in Iraq?? I sure as hell don't and understand the strategy of preparing Iraq to defend itself and the worry about too big of a "Foot Print" by our troops!

Soo, enough or not enough troops, it sure doesn't appear that we have enough, but like I said, I'm not an expert and observing from afar!

Beats me?

The PUBS forgot what Brungem to the Dance! They turned into LiBruls, Spend, Spend, Spend, Bush was the Leader in this Journey to DESTRUCTION!

Also Bush and Co.'s(McCain being at the forefront) postition on Illegals and Border Security was Disastous! Over 70% (myself included) were against Amnesty for Illegals! I stated at the time when Bush's position became "Crystal" clear that I would be the first to advance his impeachment based on this stance! He asks our men and women in the military to make the Ultimate Sacrifice and then opens the backdoor to more Terrorists! His policy on illegals is not only Dangerous to our Physical Security but also to the Economy! I think Cheney would have done just fine in his place!

Now, with that said, I voted for GB twice, He has done much good(Tax Cuts-The proof is obvious to all but the Wingnuts on the Left), The War on Iraq is a vital part of the GWOT and I am 100% behind this effort, Though I also feel we are being Too PC(not an expert), This results in only getting our brave military killed(Cannon Fodder)! I think we should be very direct with the Prime Minister of Iraq, we are going to become much more Aggressive and are going to KILL the Terrorists, We don't care what party or tribe they are from, NO more Politics with our Troops! It's his country and if he doesn't agree, then LEAVE! This putting our troops out there as target practice for the Terrorists is BULLSHIT! Our military was Built to ATTACK! Period, NUFF Said!
