Dan, I know that Rick is tired of me posting this broken-record message, but we would survive the "train wreck" of an Obama presidency except.... he may have 2 to 3 SCOTUS appointments. That can create a wreck that can't be cleaned up for decades (or worst case, ever).

There is abundant proof, its coming out, and Obama is indeed in very serious jeopardy.

Please don't believe that arrogance and stupidity are mutually exclusive- an argument can be made that they are inexorably coupled. Obama's camp in general, and Obama in particular are making a strong case for the linkage. I used to think he was smart, but the bloom is off that rose. He seems to be of average IQ, is nice looking, and is excellent at reading teleprompters. In nearly every extemporaneous interview or speech, he gaffes, or in some cases, embarrasses himself. Were it a candidate of any other party, he would be the laughing stock of the media.
As far as the Chicago Annenberg records, it is a certainty that they are being scrubbed, as we speak. When they are released, anything culpable will have been redacted, so don't get your hopes up. But as his former good friend Reverend Wright pointed out, "the chickens will come home to roost". He's dirty, he's corrupt, he has terrorist and corrupt friends, and sooner or later it'll start sticking with the public.

Despite the incredibly low approval ratings of the Democrat controlled congress, Republicans are being blamed by moderates for the mortgage crisis, the economic slow-down, the unpopularity of the war, and (amazingly) high energy prices. Conservatives are rebelling against the RINOs that spend and expand government like McGovern liberals. Is it fair... no. Is it accurate... somewhat. Is it real... yes. Truman was right- the buck does stop at Pennsylvania Avenue, and we have no hope of making gains in Congress this year.
But we can win the White House.

You're dead wrong that McCain will be thrashed. This election is a horserace, and the bigger the turnout, the better for McCain. He's gaining traction in PA, and if turnout is big (which it almost certainly will), and if he makes a wise VP choice to placate the conservatives, he'll take PA, OH, and FL (BHO has pissed off the Cubans and Jews in FL, the working class whites in OH and PA). This, of course, assumes he doesn't do something stupid like nominate a pro-choice VP.
I can't guarantee a general election win, but if he picks Romney, Pawlenty, Palin, Barber, or Jindal, I'll bet you a fifth of Johnny Walker Black that he takes those three states (and that should be enough for the big prize).
Then again, what do I know?

Submitted for your consideration: could the entire John Edwards affair be a democratic conspiracy to make Obama's lies seem minor? Think about it... John Wayne Gacy doesn't seem like such a bad guy when you compare him to Pol Pot.
No, I guess not. Edwards is not just a liar, he's stupid. Look at the lengths it took to make the MSM cover that piece. It will be difficult to get the MSM to point out Obama's lies, which is why your blog and others like it need to keep up the pressure. Good post, Rick.

Rick, allowing tripe is one thing, racist jew-bashing another. I'm not Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, or any other religion, but I'm pretty offended by that bullshit, and it reflects poorly on your site. If I had a vote, I'd vote for an IP ban for racism.
Unfortunately, at the moment I am unable to ban anyone since I can't get into my WP C-Panel. But I have banned their comments and only allowed those above to set an example for any other Jew hater who shows up.
