And they all continue to do their power dance and tell their self serving lies about themselves and the other self serving politicians in order to protect their power and their perks. Meanwhile this country falls apart because they aren't paying attention to what's REALLY important.

So, of which of your rights have you been deprived. How does Bush "wipe his ass" with the bill of rights"?Bush followed the legal guidelines necessary to do what he did. There are rules that govern this sort of thing and Bush, it appears, followed them. Congressional members were briefed allowing lawmakers to approve or disapprove. Legal counsel was obtained regarding the legalities of such action.
To state that "Bush wipes his ass with the Bill of Rights" is an uninformed,ignorant, stupid myopic knee jerk reaction without any basis in fact.You may not like what Bush did but that doesn't make it illegal or even unethical.
You'll never know,maybe he saved your life by doing this.....

By the way, I wouldn't call it a tome, it was subtitled something along the lines of "The Quotes of Mao Tse Tung" and merely printed various quotes of Mao. Hardly a large or scholarly work.....ever read it?

Are you saying the Iraqis never had chemical weapons? Ask the Kurds about that. Are you saying that we should have known where it all went when Hussein wouldn't tell us? What happened to all that stuff that the U.N. couldn't account for? It just "went away"?
You can assume it all went away by magic but not me. That kind os assumption gets you killed and because I trust Bush more than Saddam. Maybe you don't but that wouldn't surprise me since most lefties live in an alternate universe.
If we had gone into Iraq when Bush originally wanted to (instead of waiting to satisfy the left) my bet is you would have found everything that you think never existed.
The fact that Iraq had nearly a year to move it just doesn't sink in to you folks does it, even after Sen. Rockefeller warned them in a 2002 visit to the Middle East:"I took a trip by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up his mind to go to war against Iraq." Gee....Syria wouldn't say anything to Iraq would they?
I'll write a letter to Bush and tell him to make sure that he consults with you before he makes his next move, I'm sure you have more access to accurate info than he does and, well, I know you are never wrong......

11/11/05: REMEMBERING AN HONORABLE MAN
My second son is a LCpl in the Marines. My brother served in Vietnam, my father, who will not see another Thanksgiving due to Alzheimers, on Guam in WW2. I am ashamed to say that I am the only one who did not serve.
