WHEN WILL TONY FLIP?

Thank you for the body count. I agree, it should go up by next week's episode. And, yes, it is kind of slow and grinding. It looks like next week is more promising in the violence department.

NHL'S WINTER CLASSIC ONE FOR THE BOOKS

Great post! I am here in Los Angeles and a loooonnngggg suffering Kings fan. But I have always had a spot in my heart for the Black Hawks. Always loved the logo! My dream in my youth was to visit the Stadium. But, never did. Too bad! ALL the arenas now in the NHL are sterile. I missed the game because we were getting back from the Rose Parade. The Black Hawks lost the game, but I know won the hearts of many across the United States!

JINDAL IS NOT THE ANSWER

Once again, take the liberal/left narrative and run with it. What is it that worries you about Gov. Jindal? His views on creationism vs. evolution? Or some made up left-wing narrative that suggests people who have strong faith are against science? Please, stop! Here is a clue as a person of faith and a conservative feels about the subject. There is a possibility that there is BOTH! Let's face it, we are talking about God's creation. How he did it all is amazing and possibly by both creating and letting it evolve. Too me, these are nonissues as to whether or not any candidate should or not be considerd to be an elected leader. They are important, but have to be taken in context of overall ideas. Your most salient point is that the political calendar is against Gov. Jindal. And, let us see how he rides out the economic situation. That is the real test of leadership.

OBAMA ABSOLVES HIMSELF IN BLAGOBUST - LEFT AGREES

Well, my question is why didin't President Bush do this whenever anything came up? I mean, I do not see how you do not believe the president-elect!

WISHING THE GAY MARRIAGE ISSUE WOULD JUST GO AWAY

Rick, as one of your conservative friends (I hope!)I have to say that considering marriage a trivial issue is not a good thing. There are a lot of stats out there as to the good and bad of marriage. But, it is the ideal way for TWO people of the opposite sex to cohabitate. It is, for me, much more than a contractual obligation. It is what I believe that God wants for humanity. Now, having written that, I endorse civil unions for same-sex couples. But I do believe that there are radical activists that do not want to have so-called full acceptance. That is the real issue here. And, Pastor Rick did NOT equate same-sex relationships to incest. The problem is that once this starts, there are aspects of relationships that have an "anything goes" mentality and despite what the proponents of same-sex "marriage" argue, there are those that will advocate relationships that would never have been thought of as bad. Ever heard of the National Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA)? Most people, and most gays, find it repulsive. But, do you not realize that at some point, these people would argue for "their" rights. It is an uncomfortable topic, but not trivial. It is but one of the many reasons we are fighting Islamofacsist terrorists and their allies.
