I have no idea what this collection of promises, uncompleted operations and disjointed statements is supposed to prove. For example teh Red Cross on aug 29 was "ready" to deliver 500,000 meals, did they ever come. HHS on Wed aug 31 announced it would set up 40 emergency medical shelters within 72 hrs but seriously ill people were laying in stretchers on the floor of the airport in the subsequent days with no medical care awaiting transport out of NO etc etc etc. The Time Picayune has called for resignation of all major FEMA officials so they hardly see the timeline as showing a satisfactory govt response and "Brownie" was not doing a great job. Another strike for any legacy of the W admin. Think we're prepared to respond to a major terrorist attack ?
