I too got to watch, and agree with Jonathan on the issues of the bases in Iraq.
We are still in Germany and Japan, so what's teh point?
I tried to call in during the entire show, and actually got rings when I started calling on the independent line. (I figured that would probably be a line that had less traffic on it).
I wanted to ask about what conservatives, and American citizens in general, can do to fight the charge of "racism" when we demand our laws be enforced. I wanted to mention that I think many people don't go protest against the immigration bills because it is now seems to be a dangerous thing to protest. I also wanted to mention, after getting a longer comment ready as the program continued, that I would rather hunt with Cheney than go driving with Kennedy.
Next time use google maps.

Kill the bill and enforce the damned laws. Make hearings faster, and if new laws are enacted make them laws that take away the ability of immigration lawyers to have a never ending series of hearings.
Start fining employers for hiring criminal aliens. You want a new source of revenue? There it is.
Make it a requirement of attaining public social services that you are indeed a legal citizen. Same goes for healthcare that isn't dire need. If you do seek healthcare and aren't a citizen, expcet a swift trip home when you are out of the hospital.
Start a system of bio-ID for people that wish to come here to live and work, and make the penalties for even having a forged version extremely stiff, ending with the offender losing all shot at citizenship, forever.
Make the penalties for forging IDs even stiffer than the penalties for possesing forged IDs.
Offer citizenship to those that were born here before a certain date, and if they are still underage, offer to let them return when their parents are admitted legally or they turn 18 and can show the ability to work.

Hector, mexico lost all claims to certain lands in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo...along with the land they lost were lands seized by governments during that time.
They lost the lands due to the law. They have no more hope of stealing back the land than the muslims have of reclaiming spain....actually they have less hope of getting back lands they lost than the muslims have of reclaiming spain.
