THE SANTELLI RANT: A RED BULL RUSH

And if everyone takes your attitude, then you will be correct that we will not attract the millions you are wanting to see.

DAVID FRUM, THE BIG TENT, AND SPLENETIC CONSERVATIVES

I have been reading your blog for perhaps two years now and I have a question for you.

Precisely What are the Principles you espouse? Do they include those Principles as stated by the Founding Fathers of this country?

In all the time I have been reading you, I have yet to discern a cohesiveness that would allow me to construct your universe of Principles.

You are consistent in denigrating those that disagree with you while at the same time disregarding, or treating as relevant, their beliefs.

That surely cannot be the way to regaining a Conservative majority.

It's a fair question. I laid out my beliefs here:

IF ELECTED, OBAMA WILL BE MY PRESIDENT

Rick, if you want to bring a wet noodle to a gunfight, more power to you.

Unfortunately, politics has become a bloodsport, and the times you speak of in your commentary are gone, not to return again.

When the consequences of losing are a Government that will make America worse off, then you will do whatever it takes to win.

It is interesting to me that the liberals accuse conservatives of the tactics they use routinely. The tactics of personal destruction, of undermining the Presidency of a man they detest and routinely denigrate (can I use that word now?).

So, if by employing the same tactics that liberals and the Major Media use (I repeat myself) I can slow down, or even substantially alter the agenda of the liberals, then count me in.

AMERICA'S SHAME

Rick,

This is a good post, wrong, but good.

You state in part, "The specifics of what is or what is not torture matter not."

Once you state that you have basically said I don't want any further discussion of this, there is no redeeming feature available.

The definition of torture is critical and central to the discussion.

My own personal position is "whatever it takes".

But thanks for the post in any event.
