SUPPORT THE TROOPS: OPPOSE THE BIDEN RESOLUTION
Does our military control whether we win in Iraq, or are their other factors that we don't control that will determine this conflict? I do know this war is tearing this country (USA) apart. Don't the Iraqis have to work out a political process? I was against this war but now that we've broken it we have to restore some kind of stability to the country.What do we do if the surge doesn't work, and before anybody rips me for being negative, there must be a contingency plan in place.

Its okay for Bush to leave troops in that meatgrinder? But its wrong for Democrats to exit a failed policy? It seems to me the Dems want to save American lives, and Bush wants to keep slaughtering them in a unwinnable mess.Now America, who supports the troops? Yeah, all the wmd's went to Syria, the war would be won in 6 months, the oil revenues would pay for the war, the new Iraq democracy would be a beacon of hope in the Middle East, freedom is on the march..... Bush and Rummy were smarter than the historians and the generals, you reap what you sow. Read Fiasco by Thomas Ricks and then discuss this war and its leaders. Bush has caused his own pain and divided this country. I won't defend him or his ilk.

Well were getting our butts kicked in Iraq, lets rile up Iran too. Maybe some more of our boys can die. The neo-cons love the bloodlust when its not them or their kids involved. Iraq 's not our country- get over it. We don't belong there. How would you like foreign troops in our country? Not so much huh!

We will stop this war by de-funding it. Russ Feingold has already started the ball rolling. This isn't the old GOP rubber stamp congress. This one has teeth and the support of the majority of the American people. This isn't a monarchy, its a democracy. Out of Iraq now.

Rick my only problem with this Harry Reid thing is: thats all you got? Thats your big news item of the day? Man you are really reaching when thats your anti-democrat story of the day. Oh by the way 3 more American troops died in Iraq today, balance that with Harry Reid's the anti-christ. Give me a break.
