JEROME CORSI, SCREWBALL

I refer all who are energetically interested in pursuing this further to get their hands on anything written by H.L. Mencken. My favorite of his pithy comments is: "A professional politician is a professionally dishonest man."

My sentiments exactly!

MY CHOICE FOR PRESIDENT - FOR NOW

Is she old enough? If so, I'm there! Although, my Sam the Wonder Cat who is 7.5 years old and weighs in at 26 pounds is a nicely cranky fellow with a great deal of intelligence. Maybe he could be v.p.? Or Defense Secretary? He might be good in Defense - my sister's pit bull Zeus is TERRIFIED of Sam.

THE MAN WHO WOULD BE FUHRER

Republicans have not failed; leftwing kooks have proclaimed over and over again that we have failed when in fact, the SURGE has worked, Saddam DID have yellowcake (which is now safely lodged in Canada), Barack Hussein Obama is a worthless sack of excrement and unfit to be a Senator much less a president (wasn't one stone liar - Clinton - destructive enough to this country).

McCain is no prize but at least he won't destroy this nation. From the perspective of my advanced age and extensive knowledge of history, Obama easily could! Hence I will vote for McCain in November and pray to a God that liberals don't want to believe exists (would put a crimp in their hedonistic lifestyles) that there are enough people uninfected by the cult-of-Obama that do likewise or surely, we are doomed as a Republic.

Any candidate who implicitly and explicitly calls for a national police force (as Obama did within the past 7 days) is far too dangerous to be permitted to remain in the SENATE let alone the Oval Office!

I sincerely hope that Dennis Miller was correct last night when he said that Obama's answers to Katie Couric (doing an unexpectedly good job) regarding the surge will end up shooting him in the foot to such an extent that he will lose the election.

Here's the deal: McCain would be a 4 year problem who would at least maintain our national security. Obama could trigger the end of the Republic while putting in place a paramilitary gang of stormtroopers (word used deliberately) to "whip us into shape" as he sees it - whilst trampling merrily over the Constitution. I am NOT willing to risk that.

McCAIN IS TOO OLD TO BE PRESIDENT

Senator McCain is precisely 6 years older than I am. I'm not too old to run for president (too smart but not too old) and neither is he. His choice of running mate (and I suspect the Republican minority whip from Virginia will be the choice) will, of course, be the clincher. And yes, although I am a conservative to the depths of my soul, I WILL be voting for Senator McCain because the Socialist idiot the Dems are running would be the ruination of our Republic!

RUMBLINGS FROM BELOW THE MOUNTAINTOP

I would much prefer Obama as a defeated candidate, thank you so much!

As far as I'm concerned, he hasn't been formally nominated as yet and even after that, it isn't over til the fat lady sings - and I will remain reluctant to do so for quite a while!

MY OBLIGATORY POST ON JESSE JACKSON DEGONADING OBAMA

Jesse Jackson has been the chief "grievance officer" (self-appointed) for many many years - and now he's losing his job and, more importantly, the vast sums of money that accompany his self-created job! Why this glaring "humbug" and his co-conspirators (principal among them Al Sharpton)have wielded so much influence for such a long time is a mystery to me. Methinks that is the unsung tragedy of the 1968 murder of Rev. Martin Luther King - it left such as Jesse Jackson free to extort and incite! And heaven help any person of color who doesn't absolutely walk the line propounded by Rev. Jackson and cohorts! Bill Cosby has felt the lash (not that he particularly cares, nor should he) as has such excellent and talented folk as Joseph Phillips.

HONESTLY, IS JOHN ARAVOSIS A PIECE OF EXCREMENT OR WHAT?

1. The first Mrs. McCain is still ALIVE - so much for that "deathbed" b.s.!

2. Anyone who chooses to denigrate John McCain's COMPLETELY HONORABLE service to our nation, including 5-1/2 years is a freaking idiot.

3. Senator McCain has NEVER denied that he treated his first wife badly and he regrets it. Secondly, he himself has written about the propoganda video he ultimately made - after torture that would kill most of the critical posters here! Most liberals would faint if it even looked like someone was going to give them a wedgie! You try having both arms broken (and that's just one example) with not treatment and see what you'd do.

As to the stealing of planes and all that other excrement being propounded by some of the posters - supply documented proof or shut the hell up. You cannot supply proof because it never happened and you well know it. Typical leftwingnut trick - throw out numerous random accusations, none of which have any basis in reality, and keep the opposition busy refuting those so no meaningful discussion of policy ever needs to take place.

Barack Hussein Obama is now and always will be completely incompetent and unqualified to be the President of this country - not because of his lack of military service but because he hasn't got the moral center, the experience or the HUMILITY to lead our nation.

ADDICTED TO BUSH

I think you've contracted a slight case of BDS, Rick. Jeb Bush is an enormously accomplished man and a very classy guy! I'd vote for him and I'm the crankiest woman on planet Earth!

IT'S OBAMA IN A LANDSLIDE - OVERSEAS

At this point in time, pre-convention, we don't even know for sure who the nominees will be. I have a lot of faith in Hillary's talent for duplicity, chicanery, stealth and theft!

Nobody knows anything for real right now and in the fullness of time, Senator Obama will be more fully revealed as the unqualified dope he really is!

I'm no real McCain fan BUT after yesterday's ruling, I want someone nominating justices to SCOTUS who won't attempt to write legislation as was done in this case!
