WHAT MIDDLE AMERICA THINKS OF THE ELECTION

Rick,

Obama is not going to win! I live in Buffalo NY, a blue collar union town. In many strongly Democratic neighborhoods like Tonawanda and N. Tonawanda there isn't an Obama sign anywhere to be found. (These neighborhoods had a lot of Kerry signs in '04.)Most of the people I talk to who voted for Kerry and Gore are supporting McCain. I think McCain is going to stun you and win 53-54% of the popular vote.

LEFTY CAMPAIGN FOLLIES

Rick,

Obama is not going to win in a landslide! If anybody wins big, it's going to be McCain! Polls often show Democratic presidential candidates way ahead months before the election and they always end up losing or squeaking out a win. Obama is barely breaking even at this point! When election day rolls around, I think he's going to get crushed. I live in Buffalo NY, a hardcore Union Democrat town, and none of the traditionally Democratic voters I talked to and associate with are voting for Obama. The evidence is anecdotal, but interesting. I believe McCain will actually win approximately 54-55% of the popular vote and become the next President!

THE ORIGINS OF BUSH DERANGEMENT SYNDROME

CDS is a somewhat subtle but very potent tool for the Clintons, and will continue to be so in the upcoming election.

It affords both Bill and Hill the opportunity to take accurate and actual accusations and transgressions and throw them into the same "loony file" in which the whacky conspiracy theories actually do belong.

In short, the fantasies blunt the realities.
