GLENN BECK AND THE RADICAL RIGHT
I have to admit to being a disenfranchised Republican. I watch Beck and agree with a lot that he has to say since he is basically mirroring what I think. I am a Christian Conservative who is deeply concerned about our country. We have an empty-suit ninny who has no clue about running a country. All he cares about is fame and adulation. He can't even do his own dirty work, he's letting President Pelosi do that.
Tell me that you don't believe that the dems are doing all they can to grab all the power they can (timmy geithner comes to mind)and to shred the Constitution every chance they get.
Now, since I'm new here, could you please just give me an idea of who you believe to be speaking the truth to America?

An excellent post; I hope this gets many more trackbacks. I agree with every word you said. The libs seem to think that if only they could "get rid of Pres. Bush", peace would flow over the earth.
I applaud everything the government does to keep my family and loved ones safe.

A PYRRIC VICTORY FOR OPPONENTS OF MIERS
Throughout all of this, Harriet Miers has behaved with dignity and grace, just like our President. I too think it was a mistake for the hardcore Conservatives (as I call them) to form the lynch mob. I wonder if ANY nominee will satisfy all of them and whether they will declare war again.
I am not quite ready to make a judgment on the damage that was done. I need to process all that has happened in the last 6 weeks and am also waiting to see who is really indicted today and for what reasons.
Thank you for your reasoned approach on this blog. I may not always agree with you, but I know that you have always given your posts much thought and analysis.
