I must admit, that's a new angle. Usually when we hear that it comes in the form of "I've been a life-long Republican but..."
Assuming what you're sharing is true ( you sure 'sound' like an American..? ) it may be a little late to easily implement your otherwise reasonable sounding suggestions. All I have ever heard BO & JB do is immediately paint McCain as a "3rd Bush term". And since they've led in the polls, why bother with anything else?

That's the thing I keep coming back to? Just days before the elections in Spain, they had the terrible rail bombings. What made it a tragedy X 2 is that everyone went to the polls and overwhelmingly voted for liberals. Hoping ( I gather ) to appease radicals from further attacks?
Since I can't get anything of substance from BO supporters, I suppose I'm left to my own devices? If that truly 'is' their motivation... just come out and SAY it! Sadly, I think they'll be disappointed.

Yeah, I had over 10 years of active duty when Bubba was sworn in. From Day (1) ( it didn't look good ) After several more years in the active reserves, I couldn't take it any more.
In ways, I let this man take away my career. I'm sure I wasn't alone in that. Anyway after all these years I've managed to salvage that and will be re-enlisting all over again! Only this time in the Guard ( so... technically I'll be under the Gov. ) So there!
Besides, if BO is elected, everyone the world over will love us and respect us and drop all their evil plans against us! So it shouldn't matter, right?

Oh I don't mind the ridiculous and misguided T-shirts that high school kids wear to be cool? It's when you go to cocktail parties and liberals "mark their territory" by making sure early on you understand this is a "Bush Supporter Free Zone".
These would be a-d-u-l-t-s. ( I can tell because they are consuming alcohol ) So minimize it all you want but BDS IS... real and driven many of us to agoraphobia.

Dearest, the AMT has been in place for decades. Bracket creep has been a well known fact for the last 10. Minimum.
If you allowed yourself to quadruple your tax bill "under Bush" you've really managed to accomplish something! Most folks of means have already made appropriate adjustments and taken advantage of the ATM Free investment options readily available.
You need to fire your CPA. Oh wait, you don't have one, and like the rest of your points ( you don't have any money either ) Isn't this so typical of the brand of disinformation we've come to expect?

Well said TJ. I can't see why there would be all that much 'to' debate? Are Dem supporters trying to assert that they were a picture of cooperation during the last 8 years?
Why is it I get the distinct impression they are perhaps on the verge of re-capturing the WH and realize their tactics of the last 8 years were totally uncalled for and over the top? Why aren't you guys out celebrating? Huh?

Again, assuming BO wins, we are owed this. Plenty of people have made a career in the public sector, dragging their feet for 30 years. Certainly you can't grudge me 4?

You sure about that? Did it ever dawn any of you that they were forced to govern "from a bunker"? Behind closed doors? With a complete and total lack of anything vaguely resembling civility; just how exactly could ANY administration have functioned in peace time, let alone under present conditions?
I knew the minute I woke that dreadful Wed. in November 2000 that it was going to be hell. I certainly was not to be disappointed. Just wanted to return the favor.
