'LEAVE BARACK ALONE!'

So all those millions of people who support Obama are pretty dumb huh? I mean, what kind of intellectual could possibly support a man who has a clear plan to reduce our negative impact on the environment, fix our unbalanced tax system, and end the pointless, deadly Bush/McCain adventure in Iraq? Obviously, anyone who would get behind ideas like those is not thinking for themselves, am I right? George Soros must be buying them all out.

Now Grandpa McGrumpypants, there's a guy that stimulates the ol' gray matter. Jumping around from position to position, justifying his pander-ific positions, and getting owned by Paris Hilton must take some serious brain power. Honestly, what person in their right mind wouldn't be thrilled with 100 more years of our 18 yr olds dieing in some desert for John "my wife's a c**t" McCain?

As for John Stewart, have you even seen his interviews with McBush? I think Stewart came across as a little more on the ball than Senator "Bottom 5% of His Class." Actually, forget John Stewart, freakin' Paris Hilton punked McCain. Argument over. =)

So if we're talking about a dearth of intelligence in one camp or another, you might want to get that 2x4 out of your eye before you worry about the mote in mine.

ASK LAMBCHOP

I totally agree. These leftie DFHs are all out-of-control liars and exaggerators. Why can't they be like the Very Serious, Respectful, and Tactful conservative voices like Rush Limbaugh, BillO, and Ann Coulter?

SO MUCH FOR "PARTY DISCIPLINE"

"Of course they’re trying to change the rules in the middle of the race. That’s because the DNC ruled originally that the states were ineligible! And if they can’t change that rule why are we even bothering with all of this?

Howard Dean is a dunce, don’t you think?"

Dean is a dunce, but not for the MI/FL situation. The DNC is following the rules to the letter, and should be applauded for it. Dean is saying that the rules will be enforced. The rules relating to primary schedules, demanding that MI and FL delegates not be seated, is to be followed. The rules then allow for an "appeal" process, to see if anything can be done to seat the delegates. Dean is asking for MI and FL to submit plans to bring those states back within the party guidelines, and thus seat their people, according to the rules. Nobody is doing anything funny with the rules, except for the D parties in MI and FL, who broke them, and are now attempting to fix the situation.

I’m no expert, but if I had to choose whether to be the DNC or the RNC this cycle, I think I would have to go with the DNC (see: fundraising, voter turnout, candidates’ voter-appeal, not scandal-ridden, non-cheerleading for unpopular/unsuccessful Iraq debacle, etc)

CAMPAIGN 2008: HILLARY WALKS THE PLANK

As I wrote earlier, I guess she believes that Roe vs. Wade will be overturned before ‘08.
Coming out against John Roberts, provides an opportunity, if Roe is overturned to be the one that says, “I told you so.”, as part of her ‘08 run for The White House. If it does not, it only becomes an issue moderates willbeat her up on.

This vote shows her true colors versus her crafted political image.

AP IMPLIES CRITICISM OF FEMA FOR TAKING TWO DAYS TO BRING PAPER SHUFFLERS TO LA

Rick,
I have a lot of respect for your writing and work on Katrina.

However, in this case you have left out a key paragraph:

Before then, FEMA had positioned smaller rescue and communications teams across the Gulf Coast. But officials acknowledged Tuesday the first department-wide appeal for help came only as the storm raged.

This is the key point I found in this report.

-- Only after the storm was bashing the
coast was FEMA departmentally engaged ---

That is a massive failure.

A WAR NOT OF OUR OWN CHOOSING

In as much I do not necessarily agree with your views, the fact you have taken so much heat is amazing. This indicates to me that people are not hearing the entire message, selective hearing. I am a conservative democrat and part of thecentristcoalition and I posted today a piece calling attention to many questions regarding this case. I quoted a report by the Canada Free press that had Rush in the header. I was torn apart. They obviously did not read the data.

Some people like to bust your chops without an understanding of the entire train of thought. Nothing you can do.
