BRITS YAWN AS IRAN DECLARES WAR

Ahhhh, good old "ed"; always reliable for a brain-addled, BDS-inspired, Anti-American, Pro-Jihadi comment or two!

So sad.....so predictable....such a typical Leftist......sigh.......

DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON THE WAY OUT

Yep; screw 'em; I'm tired of it now too!

I've had enough.

I've defended endlessly, everywhere, against the Anti-American, Pro-Jihadi nutbags, and they don't deserve it anymore.

Gonzales needs to go, and anyone else, that does this stupid crap; they go too!

I will point out there is a difference, however:

a) the Bush Administration is well-meaning, but incompetent!

b) the Clinton Administration (who I voted for, by the way!); was evil intentioned, and the Second most Corrupt Administration in History (after the Regean Administration)!

Give me incompetent, over Evil and Corrupt, anyday...

Sad, we're forced to make that choice, isn't it?

THE TRIUMPH OF HATE OVER PRINCIPLE

I see the Anti-American-Pro-Jihadi "ed" is back again.....

Read 'er and weep, Pally...

SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS

Rick: and as a completist, I'm sure you know that John Wilkes Booth was supposedly quoting Brutus, after the slaying of Caesar, with the whole "Sic Semper Tyrannis" thing; though I've read some articles, which seem to indicate that Brutus may not have said it!

But, there is no doubt, that JWB Thought that Brutus said it, and that was his inspiration!

NEWT'S PECCADILLOS: POLITICAL AND PRIVATE

Rick: Nice one! Despite what some may think of my postings in the past, I am NOT a "conservative" nor a "Republican".

I'm proud to say, I'm a registered Independent, and most importantly for me, I'm an American!

Everything else is secondary!

That said, I've never liked "Newt"!

Didn't like him in '94, didn't like him in 2000, don't like him now!

Of course, if my only choices were Newt vs. Hillary, or Newt vs. Obama, well, those are not really choices, are they?

But, I hope it never comes to that!

As far as Clinton's sexcapades; I realized the Leftists ONLY see the "sex"; hell, I've had my own pecadillos, and I've been divorced once, and NO, I'm NOT a hypocrite for advocating the impeachment of Clinton, who, by the way, I voted for!

Even if I, and Newt, had an extra-marital affair, we did NOT lie under oath, and we did not do the myriad of other slimey, illegal things that the Clinton White House, did!

Sorry, I CAN, and DO draw that line!

If Bill Clinton had taken Monica out to a Super 8 Motel, and banged her lights out, and then admitted it later, frankly, I wouldn't have given a damn!

He didn't do that; he was the President of the United States, the Chief Executive of this country, and the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the United States!

END OF DISCUSSION!

And Newt, is a slimeball, and I'm glad he's not running; and he's not slime because of his extra-marital affair, he's a slimeball because of all the corrupt stuff he's done!

COULTER FATIGUE

Rick: Hi, thanks for asking; I've been reading periodically; but I've had a host of personal problems, still dealing with: health issues with my wife, all 3 of my daughters, my niece, and now my Mom & Dad; takes a lot out of a person, and between that, and trying to earn a living, I just couldn't put the energy into reading/posting here, AJ Strata's, Captn Quarter's, Bill Roggio's, Macsmind, JOM, Seixon's, etc.!!

So, I just went passive for a long while, and tried to concentrate on getting everyone better!

My dad (87 this year!!) is still struggling a bit, but everyone else is coming around.....hopefully...

Anyway, re: Ann; I'm just pissed that some on the "Right" are fobbing this off as a "Free Speech" issue!

Okay, sure, Ann's "free" to say whatever she wants, we all are!

How constructive is that?

If she has a serious message to get out, not very....

I don't care what the "other side" says!

They're worse, with Robert Byrd, and the hate/racism etc., that they're allowed to get away with!

Doesn't mean we have to lower ourselves and be like them!

The other excuse being used is that she's a "pundit", and not a "politician", and can thus what she likes!

Okay, but our society no longer works like that; that idiot from Kramer, and the Actor from St. Elsewhere, and the pro-NBA guy from the All-Star game, are NOT "politicians" nor "pundits", and their comments were also rightly condemmend!

The thing that's really bad about Colter, who by the way, I consider to be incedibly intelligence, and insightful, and sometimes devastatingly witty, when she's not trying to purposefully be mean, is that she says this stuff at the CPAC, on purpose I guess, so that she can get attention, and thereby tainting it, and everyone associated with it, in the eyes of the "enemy" MSM, and the Left, which is what we do not need!

Anyway, I'm tired of her schtick, and I'd love to see FNS ban her; that may get her attention...

Nice one Rick!

I've said for years, that the embracing of Ann Coulter, by such people as Hannity and others, would eventually come back to haunt the Conservative movement.

She's a smart lady; just one who loves the taste of her own shoe-leather, and she knows what she is saying, I agree she does it to shock, and get attention!

Time to ban her from "real" conservative movement events!

ARAB EDITORIAL: ARE THINGS FALLING INTO PLACE IN IRAQ?

PS: in a sign that Dhimmitude is not that far down the pike in Britain; the Muslim Council of Britain, has British supporters in trying to implement Shari’a in British Public Schools!

Read this, and see if your Blood doesn’t boil?

I’m sure the Jacobin Left, in this country, will soon be helphing the Jihadis push for the same thing!

Great….

APOLOGY ACCEPTED. LET'S MOVE ON

DEVASTATING on Kerry:

Kerryism [Victor Davis Hanson]

Kerry surely must be one of the saddest Democratic liabilities around. Some afterthoughts about his latest gaffe, which is one of those rare glimpses into an entire troubled ideology:

(1) How could John Kerry, born into privilege, and then marrying and divorcing and marrying out of and back into greater inherited wealth, lecture anyone at a city college about the ingredients for success in America? If he were to give personal advice about making it, it would have to be to marry rich women. Nothing he has accomplished as a senator or candidate reveals either much natural intelligence or singular education. Today, Democrats must be wondering why they have embraced an overrated empty suit, and ostracized a real talent like Joe Lieberman.

(2) How could Kerry possibly claim that he was thinking of the uneducated in the context of George Bush, who, after all, went to Harvard and Yale?

(3) Some of the brightest and most educated Americans are not only in the military, but veterans of Iraq. Two of the best educated minds I have met-Col. Bill Hix and Lt. Col. Chris Gibson, both Hoover Security Fellows-were both Iraqi veterans. What is striking about visiting Iraq is the wealth of talent there, from privates to generals. Without being gratuitously cruel, the problem of mediocrity is not in the ranks of the military, but on our university campuses, where half-educated professors and non-serious students killing time are ubiquitous. Personally, I'd wager the intelligence of a Marine Corps private any day over the average D.C. journalist. Every naval officer I met at the USNA, without exception, seemed brighter than John Kerry, whose "brilliance", after all, has managed to offend millions of voters on the eve of a pivotal election. If the Democrats lose, it will be almost painful to watch the recriminations against Kerry fly.

(4) This is not the first, but third, time he has denigrated soldiers in the middle of a war-and there is a systematic theme: John Kerry's assumed superior morality allows him to pass judgment from on high about supposedly lesser folk who become tools of a suspect military: thus we go from limb-loppers and Genghis' hordes to terrorists to dead-beats. The only constant is that the haughtiness is always delivered in the same sanctimonious, self-righteous, and patronizing tone.

(5) The mea culpa that Democrats are blaming the war and not the warriors is laughable after Sens. Durbin, Kennedy, and Kerry have collectively compared American soldiers to Nazis, Pol Pot's killers, Stalinists, terrorists, and Baathists.

(6) The problem is that Kerry is not just a senator, but the most recent presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, and thus in some sense, especially given the diminution of Howard Dean, the megaphone of the entire party.

(7) His pathetic clarification, as he blamed everyone from Tony Snow to Rush Limbaugh, displayed the same Al Gore derangement syndrome, and thus raises a larger question: what is it about George Bush that seems to reduce once sober and experienced liberal pros to infantile ranting?

(8) And why is the supposedly lame Bush so careful in speech, and the self-acclaimed geniuses like a Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, or Howard Dean serially spouting ever more stupidities? For all the Democrats' criticism of George Bush, I can't think of a modern President who has so infrequently put his foot in his public mouth, and, by the same token, can't think of any opposition that on the eve of elections seems to have an almost pathological death wish.

The Democrats should use this occasion to have an autopsy of Kerryism, or this strange new tony liberalism, that has turned noblisse oblige on its head. It used to be that millionaire FDRs and JFKs felt sympathy for those of the lower classes and wished to ensure that the hoi polloi had some shot at the American dream. But today's elite liberals-a Howard Dean, Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, George Soros, Ted Turner-love the high life and playact at being leftists simply because they are already insulated from the effects of their own nostrums that always come at someone poorer's expense while providing them some sort of psychological relief from guilt. Poor Harry Truman must be turning over in his grave-from bourbon, cigars, and poker to wind-surfing and L.L. Bean costume of the day says it all.
