Noel, you nailed it. I'm with that sentiment 100%. That's one of the reasons I'm paying very close attention to Nagin, because he represents to me exactly the kind of person who is willing to step up to the plate and take the fastballs. I'm curious to know how Americans through the muck of race pick the hero of New Orleans who happens to be black. Right now, the clear winner seems to be some ex-carjacker. Not particularly savory.
