Funny though that whenever I hear anyone scream liberty at the top of their lungs, your party shames and humiliates them. They are mocked and called names. They are called pussies, and their patriotism questioned. This happens no matter the party of the screamer. In fact, it's probably worse for those coming from your side.
It baffles me that the irony of so much of this piece seems lost on you. Look within.

It's amazing how William Ayers has become equivalent to Al-Qaeda. Well framed, let's hope it sticks. Soon it will almost seem like John McCain is fighting a good and noble fight against know Al-Qaeda terrorist sympathizer Barak Obama. It's hard to believe that this known terrorist is allowed to live among us and indoctrinate our youth as a college professor. I'd like to know why Ayers isn't locked away safely in Gitmo enjoying "stress" positions and "simulated drowning."

I guess you could look at it in the framing that McCain and Bush are no-shit-taking tough talking American badasses who understand what America needs to do in order to remain on top. Because, hey, everyone knows that Democrats are pussies who want to lose in Iraq and everywhere else they can lose. Hell, you remember Carter? Biggest pussy ever. No foresight on energy policy whatsoever. Pathetic.
OR, you could follow the money. It's no wonder McCain is beating his chest and talking the talk. Hell, you can pay these losers to say anything you want, and shortly after the pundits amplify and spread the toughness around. Trickle down toughness.
What's really amazing (still following the money here) is how Obama is getting so much more of the corporate cash these days. The big money donors are puking cash onto the Obama campaign like drunken barflies. The same corporations that I used to think were in love with the Right.
Nothing surprises me anymore.

What are you talking about? These stories are everywhere. There are books and movies about it. Websites devoted to it. Television documentaries on the History channel. Hell, the abuse perpetuated upon China by the Japanese is legendary. Your piece reads like everyone simply ignores all of this so they can bash the United States. Some maybe, but come on. There are comparatively few people who vilify the US for doing what it did to end the war. I know I don't.
My point wasn't that those stories aren't told - they are. My point is that the survivors of Hiroshima's stories are meaningless without the counterpoint of Pearl Harbor, POW camps, and Nanking et al.
And you are wrong about the number of people who criticize our use of the bomb - not to mention the undercurrent of anti-Americanism at these rememberance ceremonies every year.
