Physically or metaphorically speaking, getting ‘shot down’ is still considered ‘mission failure’. And particularly ‘dissatisfying’ if the shooting is done in an illegal manner, i.e., a president put into the Oval Office by voter fraud.
If that scenario DOES come to pass and the legal system of the Congress and the Supreme Court does not rectify it, that ‘shoot down’ is NOT acceptable. Indeed, it is an indication that the whole concept of the Constitution has been overthrown, because all three branches of the federal government have been suborned.
I have nothing but respect for those who serve, assuming they do so honorably, but I also contend that there are non-military approaches which can and should be given at least equal consideration -- BeyondTheBlue
I’m willing to give equal consideration to peaceful resolution of what would amount to a Constitution Crisis the likes of which has never been seen in this country. That’s why I’ve stated (earlier) that we let the system perform as it is supposed to perform. But if it does not perform in accordance with a nation that supposedly lives ‘under Law’, then there is cause for grave concern.

I've determined, after 27 years in the infantry, that getting 'shot down' is not conducive to either (1) mission accomplishment and/or (2) health. I suspect it has something to do with bullets and bodies and general health after the former is introduced into the latter.
Based on that professional observation, I suspect BeyondTheBlue is beyond any reasonable doubt something of a moron. Or maybe he/she just needs more training in English.

They will be 'disappointed'. And, I suspect a goodly number of them, even the ones I saw rebuking a march of McCain supporters in Manhattan, will likely be dead too boot. Nothing like a few thousand dead to get someone's attention. Too bad the dead can't benefit from the 'experience'.
I remember 9/11. It's really too bad that New Yorkers can't remember anything before 2004. One would think they had friends, associates or relations who died in the Twin Towers. I, in Denver, had a co-worker who lost her daughter there. And I seem to remember better than they. Must be something in their water....bad Kool-aide....

....hasn't responded to the simple explanation of how voter registration fraud could readily lead to voter fraud on election day.

I can well imagine....being a mustang who didn't set aside his candor when he set aside the sergeant stripes to take on two gold bars. Probably one of the worst mistakes I made in my life. I had so much more 'fun' as a sergeant. As opposed to almost coming to blows with a great batt commander while I held a company therein. But that's a LONG story.

Neither of us on account of that stage in our 'careers'. I retired (reserve side) in 1997 after 27 years; passed over for Major. And I learned more in the reserve component and had a more professional, i.e., less political, environment to work. Worked at a higher level too.
At any rate, I still think professionals should wait until the whole edifice collapses before attempting anything 'untoward'.
