Hasn't Rush said for years McCain is a moderate, Rick?
I'm not saying I support these scurilous attacks against McCain -- heck, he's the candidate I most want to win and, to my surprise, I find myself believing he's the one likely to win the nomination -- but McCain was always, for the most part, a center-rightist like myself, probably a bit more centrist than I, and a moderate. Not a conservative in the mold of Thompson or Reagan. More like George H.W. Bush -- even similar careers. Both courageous naval aviators, shot down in battle.
