They came from the battlefield with no koran. They got a cup. They got a cap for their heads. They got a new koran. A prayer rug. A sign in their cell that points to mecca. They've got 24 hour access (from what I gather) to a muslim cleric or imam for religious counseling. This is way beyond what they deserve--or are entitled to! We've got to get realistic about this situation, these are not John Kerry's french relatives, these are terrorists who were killing Americans in Afghanistan--these guys are the taliban!

That's right, putried pucilanimaous perfidity, I guess in your narrow definition of WMD, it has to be something narrowly used in the production of anthrax. Why would he have to move it at all if it was innocent and not for the purpose of producing something more sinister?

Class seems to run in the family. I'll go back and re-read all of this when I have more time, but I'm glad that you chose to "come out", and personally I don't think the timing could have been better if you planned it. You're getting more recognition for the excellent writing and content you have over here, and it is most deserved.
