There's a flaw in your article: that it is only Democrats who are offended.
Clearly some conservatives, including the current chair of the RNC, are offended as well.
In fact, would we even know about this story if RNC members hadn't blown the whistle? He wasn't sending it to the NY Times but to his fellow Republicans.
