I don't know what to think of Grossman, yet. He's thrown a total of three touchdown passes in his career, which is a rather ridiculous number for a third-year quarterback and a frighteningly low total for somebody quarterbacking one of the better teams in the league heading into the playoffs.

He's just looking for attention. I read somewhere that his dad abandoned the family, which is not Rall's fault of course (one assumes), but it does somewhat explain his "look at me" columns and cartoons.

I remember Bob Avellini, and Vince Evans and Mike Phipps, not to mention Bobby Douglass (who couldn't pass but was quite a good scrambler). Have the Bears ever had a good quarterback? McMahon was fine when he was healthy which was about eight games a year.
I haven't seen the Bears play yet this year. Looks like I'll get to see them in the playoffs. :)

Yep, that was Kerry's treason; to meet with the enemy (on at least two occasions by the way, although he only admitted to one). As for Mapes' stated reason for going after Bush, didn't she feel the same obligation to pester Kerry, who had, after all, pledged to serve in the Navy until 1972?

I do find it amusing that he (Crooks & Liars says "he" about Jesse) even admits that swearing discredits one's own case: "A lie, an insult, a grossly racist imputation is afforded legitimacy because it’s said nicely."

I have had this debate with one of the other bloggers on Lifelike. Cursing to me is a sign that your arguments are weak. Note particularly that the places where Jesse uses the cursing are conservative arguments that she cannot rebut with fact, because the facts are on the other side. As somebody once said, when you have the facts on your side argue the facts, when you have the law on your side, argue the law. When you have neither, holler!

If we eliminate Democrat, Republican, Green, Libertarian, conservative and liberal, what is left? About the only thing I can think of is Communist.
